Took my like 30 minutes alone to assemble. It was easy and fast One screw was shorter , but am lucky i found one same size in my garage. Just the part were u connect with screws the table top was alittle bit tricky, i just couldn’t see the holes. Its really heavy and sturdy. The box is heavier than one might expect. Could be a two person lift for some. Table is well packaged. Arrived with all pieces and no smells. Extra hardware was included. Not just one extra piece of each but two! This sturdy table with two side drop-leaves is perfect in a small space, without any compromise on anything. The top is heavy and solidly made, and the wood-look is nice. Matches other furniture that can be found an Amazon. We replaced another (bulkier) square table with this one and this smaller size is so much more practical. There is plenty of space for two adults to dine comfortably at this table and it would also work for four, with the leaves up. The height is a normal table height. We didn't purchase the matching chairs, but they do sell them. The standard size dining chairs we had from our previous set works perfectly with this table. We may get the chairs later for an exact match. We needed a table for two mostly, but sometimes for four. We also wanted something big enough to be able to play games on and to build puzzles, while still having a smaller footprint. This table checks all those boxes. The leaves are awesome for different size needs. It was assembled by the not so assembly-handy member of the household easily, with the exception of four screws that needed a different tool than what was included. (If you have a drill and the needed bits and a shorter screwdriver handy it'll make the entire process go like a dream!) The instructions were good. There was only one part that was a bit unclear, but it was possible to figure out. The initial assembly did leave the leaves slightly off-kilter, but the tool-handy household member was able to install the four tricky screws with a shorter screwdriver and align the leaves. (In reviews) It seems that people who have misalignment issues may be having assembly issues, not product issues, at least in some cases. This is a guess, of course. We figured one person here may have the alignment challenge and the tool-handy person could get it to straighten out. And that is exactly what happened. If you are handy with assembly this thing will be a cakewalk. If not, you can still most likely assemble it, just be patient and with adjustments it can be done. The mechanics of the leaves work perfectly. They open and close smoothly without any weird noises and they hold with good stability. If you are considering it but apprehensive, just note the current return policy. A free return option on a large item is a pretty helpful option to have. Just keep the box and all papers until you assemble it and know it's all good. As long as you do that within the 30 window you are golden. Also, the odds seem to be in your favor that you will get a very good product. We love this table in every way and are so glad that we bought it. It is sturdy, beautiful and practical in design. If you need a small footprint with good surface area, sturdy, beautiful table I highly recommend this one. ... show more

I bought this to use as my computer desk, and it's great! It's very sturdy, and was very easy to assemble. It seriously took me 10 minutes to build. The bottom crossbar on the bottom doesn't get in the way of my chair, in fact, it's nice to use as a foot rest / massage bar. One comment, not a complaint, just an observation: The wood grain pattern is laminated on, it's not the actual wood. I'm not sure what the table top is constructed of but it's quite solid. Recommended. Side note: I think it's too small for a "dining table for 4" but it feels just right as a computer desk. ... show more

I would give this table 5 stars but I'm giving it 4 because of the assembly process. I ended up hurting my hand pretty decently with the mallet provided in the package. With that said, the table looks wonderful and is super sturdy! We had all the parts needed so thankfully nothing was missing! I don't think you can go wrong with this purchase. If you're worried of getting the value for the money spent, you're definitely receiving more! It's gorgeous and I get so excited eating at our table! All I have to say is be careful with putting this table together, this is definitely a two person job. ... show more

Buyer beware, this table looks acceptable only when viewed from a distance. Up close, the quality is disappointing and does not match the polished appearance shown in the listing photos. The tabletop arrived with visible blemishes, scratches, uneven coloring, and other finish imperfections. It is the only part that feels somewhat solid. The frame and legs feel flimsy and cheaply made. Despite having a wood-like look, the legs are not real wood at all. They appear to be plastic or another low-quality material covered with an uneven paint finish. There are dark marks, rough areas, and noticeable flaws throughout. Another important detail that should be made clearer in the listing is that the tabletop and frame are shipped separately in two packages. One of my packages went missing, so I received the frame without the tabletop. I had to contact the seller several times before a replacement was sent. Communication was frustrating because the seller generally took about 24 hours to respond, often with only a brief one-line message. As a result, I had an incomplete table frame sitting in my dining room for about a week. Overall, the table may look decent in AI staged listing photos, but the actual product feels flimsy, poorly finished, and overpriced for the quality. The photos are misleading, and the delivery and customer-service experience made the situation even worse. I would not recommend this table. ... show more
