Picked this up mainly to organize my kid’s LEGO sets, and honestly it’s been a huge upgrade. The shelves are roomy enough for built sets, and the glass doors keep everything contained so pieces aren’t getting knocked over or lost. The LED lights are a big win — makes the LEGO builds pop and actually turns them into a display instead of just storage. My kid loves it, and it makes the room look way cleaner and more put together. Assembly took a bit of time but wasn’t complicated, just follow the instructions and take it slow. Once it’s set up, it feels stable and well-made. I bought these as a budget friendly option while I await the arrival of custom display cases. Had I known the quality I would receive, I'd have not ordered the custom cases at all. I used the Ikea Detolf for over a decade and these Brottars are far and beyond better than they ever were. The assembly is straightforward, the case is plenty sturdy enough for what it needs to be and far exceeded my expectations in the best of ways. Added lighting with the option for blue, warm or cool tint with a built in dimming option that you can set is intuitive and very well done. I will most assuredly buy a third sooner than later and probably will try their corner case next. ... show more

    • Great product, sensor/on-off switch location is less than ideal.

I purchased five of these units and overall I’m very happy with them. The build quality is solid, the light output is great, and they perform exactly as expected once installed. For the price, they feel well-made and reliable, and I’d absolutely buy them again. The only downside—and the reason I’m not giving a full 5 stars—is the placement of the sensor/on‑off switch. It’s located on the side of the cabinet, which creates a few usability limitations. When installing multiple units next to each other, you can’t mount them flush side‑by‑side. I currently have two installed next to each other, and they need to be spaced about 4 inches apart so I can comfortably reach the switch by hand. Additionally, the motion sensor is directional and only reliably triggers when you pass by on the right side. It doesn’t detect motion from all directions, which can be a little inconvenient depending on how your cabinets or space are set up. Aside from that design choice, everything else about these lights is excellent. If you plan your spacing and layout accordingly, they work very well and look great. This is a really nice display cabinet. Set-up took the better part of 5-6 hours with one person. I recommend getting a friend to help as mounting the doors is rather tough (and frightening) alone. Overall though, not difficult to put it together. Shelves are not adjustable but they're very spacious; my tallest figure is about 16.25 inches and it fits in the tallest segment. You definitely need to think about your displays and how to maximize the space, but the good news is it's a very sizable, very workable space. The main structure is solid, with the sides, shelves, and top/bottom made with thick material. The backboard is much thinner but is rather sturdy when properly installed. You'd have to work to tip this thing over but I still fixed it to my wall for ease of mind. Oh yeah and the lights are cool. They're on every shelf and they're adjustable to cool/warm/neutral tones. You can even set it to light up when you pass by and turn off when you leave. Like I said, good cabinet. ... show more

OK... I think I qualify for a honest review on this display case. I initially ordered two cases and they did arrive pretty quickly. I did have some issues with some panels that were split and needed to be replaced. Contact with the seller was pretty good and they responded back quickly. They sent out replacement parts multiple times, one would come in and it was broke, I contact them again and they would send out another one. Unfortunately it happened a few times but they would send out it again. After this happening a few times they sent me another display case free of charge which was a complete surprise. Seller is A++++ in my book. Pros: For the price the cases are decent and serve their purpose. They look good, sturdy, and the lighting system is good. Multiple color levels to fit your needs. I do enjoy the motion sensor so I dont have to worry about turning them off all the time. The shelving space is perfect and you can put a decent amount of collectibles in the case. Overall I would suggest to anyone to buy this just be aware there might be a chance of some broken parts you might need to get replaced. It is a good alternative price wise to purchase these instead of the cases that are a lot more. Cons: Ok... the ease of putting it together is straight forward.... but... those glass doors are a pain. After building three of these I have it down to a science. Suggestion... install the bottom first then slide it into the top while holding the glass. It makes it way easier and make sure you use the black plastic piece in front of the screws on the door hinge. Once you tighten down the screws it will contact the glass. This is a buffer they added and needs to be used. Be careful pulling the plastic off the thin acrylic windows... I did scratch a couple of them. You should take off the inside of the plastic first before you tighten down everything. Once you tighten down the screws it almost locks the plastic in the frame and makes it difficult to remove it. And be prepared for static and fingerprints... its like a magnet. Overall I would suggest buying these, the price point is good, quality is good for the money, customer service was excellent. ... show more

I love this shelf! exactly what i wanted for a decent price. i (25 F) put it together myself, was really easy and took about 2 hours but I was taking my time. it is a little wobbly and not the most sturdy but its perfect for my Peach Riot Figures. The built in light is great! my lights did just randomly completely stopped working two days after i put it together. However I reached out to the company support and they promptly sent a new power adapter and that fixed it! back up and running and beautiful as ever. the white background and lights make it a great photo opportunity at any time for my figures! ... show more
