We have a bigger dining area and want a table big enough for when friends come over. This piece is perfect. No defects on the product when delivered, and the packaging made it so easy to put together. Every piece was organized and labeled. The only downside is you need to use an Allen wrench, so power screw driver couldn't be used. The table feels very sturdy, the chairs are a bit wobbly, but once you sit there is no issue. The wood is a dark cherry hue. We got the table on prime day, so very worth our money. This will last generations.

Love free shipping on furniture! This is an excellent dining set and very easy to assemble. Each piece comes with its own pack of screws and an allen wrench. These pieces are really well constructed with no problems with cuts or pilot holes. Very heavy and feels super solid. Now that you can pay for this with monthly payments, it's a no-brainer. Just make sure to watch the price carefully. I monitored it for a while and saw it go as low as $350 but as high as almost $600! Gotta buy at the right time but it's worth it for $400 or less. The finish is a lovely color and cleans super easy but gets scratched up pretty quick. Nothing a bit of polish won't fix and it doesn't show much. Overall, I'm very pleased with the purchase and Amazon service is awesome.

I was searching for a pretty decent dinning set, without breaking the bank. This dinning set was definitely what I was looking for. The sturdiness, size met all expectations and the instructions were pretty simple to follow. However, I’m rating this a 4 because, after assembling it for about 2 or 3 hours, my husband noticed that one of the chairs were wobbly. He disassembled and reassembled again, with hope that it was just not tight enough or not screwed in all the way, but that wasn’t the case. Almost like one of the legs have a defect and or something, which is a bummer. It’s the chair that’s closest to the wall. I’ll just have it there meanwhile. Other than that, I have no other complaints about this beautiful set. I highly recommend this dinning set, especially if shopping on a budget. The quality is AMAZING!

We desperately needed a new table and chair set. I saw this at a decent price since it looked nice - and it does. Putting it all together isn't bad at all and it does look quite nice in person. The issue is around 6 months after getting it one of the chairs broke. I was moving one to sweep and the top of the back snapped off. No, it didn't come off on accident - it completely snapped. I contacted Amazon who told me to contact Ashley Furniture since it has been more than 30 days since the purchase. I contacted them via the email I was given - no response. Dealt with Amazon again and got transferred all over to their big box section and such. Was told they can't help for the same reason and that the warranty is under Ashley Furniture. I finally got in contact with someone from Ashley who said I needed the serial number for the set. I was at work but got the serial number and such. I called back and s representative (who didn't seem to care at all) said to go to a website, enter the information, and order it myself. It was confirmed it was under warranty. I ordered the part in September. Never got it. I called back in October and they said the part was on back order. It's a piece of a chair. I asked why I wasn't notified and they said their system doesn't do that. They said it should be received by November. Now it's 11/22 and still no part or contact. Do your due diligence and read about the company. They have abysmal ratings online for pulling this stuff. I guess they try to wait out the warranty time and eventually say "sorry, it's out of warranty!" If I don't get the piece by next week I'm contacting my state division for consumer protection and the BBB. I am also quite upset with Amazon for not assisting or advocating for me as a long time customer. Prime customer, no less. If I buy something through this multi-billion dollar corporation and the maker isn't upholding their end of the bargain, they should threaten to drop their products. I will admit the last Amazon rep I dealt with was a very sweet and sympathetic woman. She just said Amazon has gotten much more strict over the years and there was literally nothing she could do.

To be clear, this is not a high-end set. I would call it a value set - decent quality for the price. It seats six, but is not too big or heavy. My husband put it together by himself in 1-2 hours. If bought directly from the manufacturer, this set would cost several hundreds of dollars more than what I paid on Amazon. The biggest risk, it seemed to me, was delivery. I’ve read problems with terrible delivery and damaged tables that made me hesitant to buy. Ultimately, though, I figured Amazon accepts returns and even if it would be a hassle, there was little risk I’d be stuck with a broken product. Luckily, I had no issues with delivery. The item arrived within the delivery window, the people (CEVA) were nice and pushed the giant box into the kitchen for us, and there was no damage to any of the parts. The set looks great and is comfortable, although I wouldn’t jump on the chairs or anything. A couple of the chairs seemed off-balance (like all the feet don’t touch the ground at once), but when we sat on them, we had no problems. We’re a family of 3, but like extra space in case we have guests. This table fits the bill without taking up too much space. Overall, a great buy for us, thanks in large part to a seamless delivery process. Definitely worth considering if you’re in the market for a decent dining set without breaking the bank!
