Assembly was difficult as also stated in many reviews before buying. The wholes for the chairs were not threaded and using the small tool that came with purchase was time consuming. The table is very study and goes perfect with my farmhouse theme. The table has hints of brown in it but it is black. First off the table pictured is not the table that comes in the set. My table never arrived. I don't know if it was amazon or the seller. I got in contact with the seller and they were not able to ship me just the table. I went to return the set and Amazon ask if I wanted to keep it and they would also give me $400. I opted for that and purchased this table separately (which was an amazing choice!). The chairs are beautiful but they are a headache. Wood chips everywhere. Assembly was way more difficult then it should be! We had 1 chair that we could only get 4 out of 5 to actually screw in, nothing we did would get it to work. They are sturdy and worth the money, good size and comfortable but assembly is such a headache! ... show more

We received our table in early July and had had issue putting it together. First, we received the incorrect table legs. Instead of two right legs and two left, we received 3 left legs and 1 right. Also, the “wood” is fairly shoddy and trying to assemble the chairs was pretty difficult as the screws aren’t able to go in correctly on two of the chairs because of an incorrect manufacturing angle. We’ve tried calling and emailing customer service with no responses and will probably have to return if we don’t receive help. ... show more

Took 5 days to fix chair and when we reached the table noticed this white spot in table legs. Does anyone have any suggest what to do now.

Just received this today, on time with professional assembly. The 2 delivery guys were so nice and they put the table and chairs together , cleaned up in about 35 minutes! No damage at all and I love this dining set! The chairs are comfortable and I love the blue color! Table is very sturdy! Buy this, you won't regret it! ... show more

Yes the chairs are a pain to assemble, but if you take the time to thread the bolts in and out a couple of times before assembly they go right together. Also do the middle screw last, and use a power tool!
