Order came quickly however the first shipment came damaged from one of the corners and the wood was split on the corner support. I contacted customer service who arranged for a second delivery which also arrived quickly and this time was not damaged. The table itself is very pretty and sturdy. Assembly was not difficult and went rather quickly. The chairs are nice and the faux leather on them is also nice. They cushion on the chairs is soft and does not seem as if they will fall flat anytime soon. No flaws, easy to put together. I bought the hex tips (from Amazon) for my husband's drill rather than use the Allen wrench that is included with table. For the money this is a great sturdy product and looks very nice.

Do not expect heirloom quality at this price point. This is a decent dining set for the price. Chairs are a little light weight and needed felt pads (not included) to reduce scraping the floor and also to balance a few tiny wobbles. The table top is not made of wood, it’s veneer and engineered wood but looks and feels like real wood. Care will need to be taken or scratches etc will not be repairable (I’ve ordered a custom glass topper for mine). Instructions are diagram/picture only and straight forward; assembly took about an hour with two people. I will mention here that due to poor handling during shipping my original dining table was beat all to hell and needed to be replaced. Amazon customer service promptly sent a replacement and arranged for the damaged one to be picked up from my residence. Even if the original table top hadn’t been cracked and dented, I would’ve had to have a replacement because two different chair legs had misaligned predrilled holes for support slats and slats couldn’t be secured properly, making the chairs unstable and unusable. Nevertheless, the second dining set arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Overall I’m pleased with it. ... show more

When the product arrived from ups, the box looked like it had been thrown off a roof and ran over by traffic. It's an extremely heavy box so I'm guessing they weren't happy about delivering it. Upon opening the box, everything was packaged extremely well. Unfortunately no amount of good packaging could save this from the abuse it obviously had taken. 2 of the chair backs were snapped in half. This is the point I wish I could give them 20 out of 5 stars. I went to the manufacturers website, put in the model and serial number, found the parts that I needed replaced and put in my information for shipment. At this point I was ready to pay for them if I had to just so I didn't have to go through a whole return process, but to my surprise, no questions asked my parts are on the way. (Will update if they do not arrive) I assembled the 2 chairs that were not broken, and the table. You really aren't going to find a table and chairs of this quality for any where near this price. I'm stunned at the quality of this. I can't recommend this enough. BUY THIS YOU WONT REGRET IT ... show more

This is the second Ashley product I’ve bought from their Amazon store front. First a recliner chair and then this dinning room set. The quality of products is much different than the pieces you would get at their in-person show room. Both of my Ashley items are poor quality, the table specifically being the worst of the 2. It came quickly and I was happy about the price. The table is sturdy, has a great finish and the countertop height is nice. Unfortunately all 4 chairs are so poorly made each one has it’s own set of issues. All 4 wobble because the legs aren’t level, 1 has issues with the foot rest slats at the bottom where they won’t line up correctly with the legs to make the chair stable, 1 is almost cracked all the way through on the back rest piece, and 1 is warped at a slightly reclined angle so that you can’t sit without falling backwards. The reviews seemed slightly mixed with some people getting lucky and others end up with an unusable pile of broken wood. I took the chance so you don’t have to. It’s not worth it! I wouldn’t recommend Amazon Ashley furniture to my worst enemy. ... show more

This was fairly easy to put together! The box it comes in is very heavy and padded, but there were still a few dings from shipping. Also, I was missing one single screw (not sure if it’s important- but I’m sure I’ll find out). If it weren’t for the price and the headache to return, I would be upset.     • Nice furniture but terrible packaging which caused damage

The furniture itself is nice. Sturdy. Looks good. However, the packaging and delivery was horrid. The packaging was busted when it was delivered. The table had dents, the chairs were chipped, and I was missing some of the parts needed to put the furniture together. The styrofoam was in pieces and several of the pieces were completely crumbled which not only made a horrible mess which was difficult to clean, but obviously did not provide the necessary cushioning to protect the furniture. I buy from Amazon quite often, and have for years, and have NEVER had a packaging/delivery experience like this. I’m very disappointed. ... show more
