We have ordered several hundred items from Amazon and this bike may be best item. We purchased the RB405 in black with yellow accents. After opening the box I noticed it was packaged extremely well and very efficiently. I was initially somewhat apprehensive about assembly considering all the parts. However, the directions were excellent and Vanswe put all the bolts in the holes except for four in the seat and for the backrest. This made assembly rather simple and quick. Very impressed with the quality of materials during assembly. Our model had the 3.5 inch better seat and it is very comfortable. It takes up little space and the seat is lower to the floor than I anticipated which makes it very stable. It was so quiet you can hardly hear it. Save time by using a hex head screwdriver rather than an allen wrench. Overall great product!

Very nice and comfortable recumbent bike. It was super heavy so you’ll need help getting it to its final destination for assembly. Assembly took less than 30 min and I was done solo by yours truly. This unit connects to Bluetooth, which I’m having trouble doing at the moment but I’m sure I’ll overcome my IT shortfalls soon. This bike has a large digital display pad with a small ‘shelf’ for an iPad/phone or book. It’s offers an adjustable resistance knob, I’m currently on level one! But, in my defense I’ve had six back surgeries so hence why I bought myself a recumbent bike for comfort and back support while exercising It also has a drink holder which is nice. The seat and seat back are very comfy. There are wheels and a handle to glide the bike into position. Happy pedaling!

Upon purchasing I weighed over 370 lbs. and needed a heavy-duty bike capable of holding my weight while I attempt to slim down. The bike shipped to my home quickly and was easy to install. I found the directions to be spot on with all parts and tools needed to assemble it. On first use of the machine, I found the bike to be well made and the large seat to be very comfortable. I have begun usage with light tension and short workout time. Each week have gradually increased these settings. The led display that comes with the bike is simple but gives you information that you can use to gauge your progress. I had to replace the supplied batteries after 2 days use but the replacements I have held up for the 6 weeks that I have used to bike to date. So far, I have lost about 6 pounds during this time and confident that I will continue to lose weight using the bike daily as I do. <> Cons I have noticed is that the grip bars around the seat are too close together for a large man like me with the waste of 60+ so when I grip the sensors there's little room for comfort but they do pick up the reading of my pulse and appear to be consistently working properly. Also, the bike pedals are (for me) too close to the cranks causing my large shoes to rub against them as I exercise. This may be simply corrected with pedal extenders added between the cranks and pedals that can be purchased through Amazon. Another thing I would mention is the stability of the seat giving me the feeling that I need to be careful not to lean left or right of my shoulders for fear of the seat breaking at its mount under my weight. This is mostly noted when I am placing my feet in the pedal stirrups. <> Pros The seat handles are comfortable to grip and the foreword handlebars are also comfortable to grip when I use them. Pedaling the bike is smooth and silent. The bike is easy to move from one room to the other and is fairly Nice looking for an exercise machine. With that said I am happy with this purchase and recommend to anyone needing an incumbent exercise bike who is starting out heavy needing an affordable solution to indoor exercise.

To start out, I am 70 years old, and overweight. My knees are bad, my back is touchy and I can't do regular exercise like pushups and other things. This bike seemed like a good idea. My wife is a bit younger, has 2 new knees and a new hip and like me, she can't do the same exercises we did a few years ago. She researched this product thoroughly and determined it would meet our needs at an affordable price. Today at about 1PM, I opened the box. It was packaged better than ANY other item we have ever gotten. Everything was in order. There were amazing instructions and I took the time to read over them twice. There is a clever package that has EVERY bolt and nut labeled as well as the two tools needed for assembly. (One thing I will say, is DON'T LOOK AT A DIAGRAM LABELED EXPLOADED VIEW! It is nice but has NOTHING TO DO WITH PUTTING THIS TOGETHER! It is terrifying!) Each step is done with perfect diagrams and instructions with which bolts and nuts to use. Just take your time! The holes for assembly are well cut and easy to use. The wiring for the computer is well described and connections are a breeze. So, I mentioned I am 70 and out of shape, but I had this completely assembled in 2 hours just taking my time to do it right. (My wife helped me for about 30 minutes of the time by holding handles and so forth as I installed the bolts.) Once finished, we both took a couple of minutes for a test drive and find it to be extremely well made and sturdy. It is more than we had hoped for. We highly recommend this product! The company didn't cut corners. A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Product arrived at least five days earlier than promised. It took me at least 15 minutes to unwrap all the parts, but it was very securely packed with lots of thoughtful touches. I'm not super mechanical, it took me about 90 minutes to assemble not including the unpacking. If I were to do it again I would get a second person for the first couple of steps to help hold the heavy stuff in place, and also use a screw gun with a phillips and hex bit as most of the work is done with the provided allen/phillips tool. Would probably cut the time down by at least 30 minutes. There were quite a few parts and 9 pages of schematics - but it was really well laid out and engineered in a way that it was hard to put something in backwards - and they had clear warnings whenever it was possible to put something in the wrong way. I've put together a lot of cheap "overseas" stuff, and this was head and shoulders above, both in instruction and engineering. My only mystery was the very last step, they only instruct you to hook up 2 of the 3 wires to the screen and I couldn't figure out what the third was for (future use?), but I hooked up all three anyway and it all works so no harm no foul. The unit is crazy sturdy, like something you'd use in a gym. Very high quality and there was room to spare on the leg length and I am 6'5". The seat is so comfortable compared to an upright bike seat you almost want to just sit in it even when not exercising. The one design quibble is that the pedal clips are a little small for bigger feet and I had to consciously keep my legs a bit to the outside to keep my shoes from knocking the pedal hinges during rotation (narrow feet would be better). Going to try it without shoes and see if that helps. But in summary, this is a quality heavy duty product that has been well thought out and I look forward to using it!

This is a review about assembly. If you’ve shopped around for these on the Internet, you’ll see a lot of reviews focus on the difficulty and the amount of time it takes to assemble. This one advertised that it was 90% preassembled. And it was! Now, there were a number of bolts and screws that were partially in the threaded holes for them. You need to remove them and use them again once you’ve put another piece in place. That’s a great way to do it. The assembly was easy. It took some extra time to unpack it because of all the sturdycardboard and Styrofoam. But that was fine because it protected the bike well for its from China. You don’t need to be too concerned about assembly with this bike. It did take about an hour to assemble. But the work was straightforward and not difficult. Instructions were good except they don’t show exactly which wires connect to other wires at the monitor. However, we got it on our first try. It was assembled by one person with a helper mostly just watching. By the way, the Phillips screwdriver included is not very good and you would be well advised to use your own. You can struggle a bit with the one provided, but it’s much easier if you use your own. I didn’t deduct any stars because of this. After all, you’re not buying it to get a tool. Once it was assembled, it worked exactly as it should. Of course I don’t yet know anything yet about its durability, but it is certainly very sturdy and I am optimistic. The first 30 minutes of use was excellent.

The bike looks exactly as shown, & it's easy to enough to put together. The reason for the rating is: 1) Can't get the gear to adjust all the way. When I try to put it into the highest setting it just pops back to the center. 2) The seat is real easy to adjust, however it likes to slide while you're using it because it doesn't lock into place. Other than this it works great. Easy to move. The seat is decent. The display is simple enough to understand and use.

This recumbent bike was well packaged. It took about 30 minutes to unpack. Nothing was damaged or dented. Be aware that the box weighed about 90 pounds, so you might need help getting it in the house. Set up took several hours to put together (it included an hour break). The directions were easy to follow. The mechanical part of the bike was already assembled; just needed to put the feet, seat, heart rate sensor bar, monitor, cup holder, seat adjustment lever, pedals on. We needed to replace the batteries that are included for the monitor. Once you start pedaling the monitor lights up. You can download data apps if you want, but don’t need to if you only want to pedal on your own. The bike tracks time, calories and several other things. The bike is quiet and the pedal movement is smooth. I would say this is a good option for home exercise.
