This bike is exactly what we were looking for - it meets all the requirements recommended by our physical therapist. The computer is easy to learn, no problems there. We had need to work with customer service and they were the best we've dealt with for any company, absolutely top shelf! I went slow with assembly and it took about 1 1/2 hrs. I will say if you are perhaps not especially handy with assembling items that you may wish to purchase the professional assistance - though I'm not sure how that actually would be accomplished.

I purchased this Vanswe Recumbent Exercise Bike in June 2019. I found the bike very easy to put together, and I have enjoyed using it. It is now over three years later, November 2022, and I found that the right bike pedal had come out of the crank arm and would not stay in. Upon further inspection, I found that the threads of the crank arm that the pedal screws into had become stripped. I wrote to Vanswe Customer Service to find out how to order a replacement crank arm. Vanswe immediately responded that they were sorry to hear of the problem I was having, and they explained that this situation can arise if the bike is used after the pedal has become loose, causing the threads to be stripped. They sent me a new crank arm by FedEx, free of charge. When I received the new crank arm, I found that they had also included a new pedal, tools to complete the repair (including a puller to pull the crank arm off the bike), and complete instructions for how to remove the crank arm and reinstall the new one. I have been very happy with the Vanswe exercise bike these past three years. I am simply ecstatic about their customer service in response to the problem I was having with the pedal. To send me replacement parts three years later, along with the tools needed to fix it, is beyond my expectations. Based on my experience, I have to say that Vanswe stands behind their products. I have such confidence in them that I also recently bought the Vanswe barbell rack for my home gym. It is another great product. I am happy that I chose Vanswe for these purchases.

I ordered this recumbent exercise bike for my wife and she loves it! It was easy to assemble, but be aware it is heavy which leads to its sturdy feel. It does not rock or tip even on carpeted floors. We had an issue with the computer not communicating with the drivetrain, and after contacting the manufacturer, we were supplied with a replacement computer, free of charge! Their customer service was quick and professional. If you’re looking for a great recumbent bike, take a look at this one for sure. Super quiet, easily adjustable seat, pulse meter, and you can put a tablet on the front.

I don’t really write reviews. Shame because I look at them all the time. Don’t really know how to do it and I think it takes too much of my time. The same way I really hate to read assembly instructions. I just don’t have the patience for it. So I let my wife handle that - my wife finds reading those instructions challenging. This time is much different. I am exited about writing this review because I am really satisfied with my purchase of the Vanswee Recumbent Bike. I am a bicycling enthusiast. It’s been two months since I had spine surgery - a three level laminectomy from L2-3, L3-4 and L 4-5 as a result of severe and progressive Spinal Stenosis. The orthopedic surgeon told me that I cannot ride for some time. It may be 6 months plus. So I have to find a way to get those cycling muscles active and ready for when he gives me the okay to ride again. I asked him for exercise alternatives such as a treadmill and exercise bike. He said okay for the treadmill but no for any exercise bike because of my forward bending position of my back. Then I asked about a recumbent bike. After giving it some thought he said fine with the recumbent bike. So I immediately started my search ... so many ... so varying prices. I wanted something neat and affordable. The search lead me to the Vanswe Recumbent Exercise Bike 16 Levels Resistance 380 lbs with adjustable seat. I found it basic, stylish and beautiful in silver/black. With transport wheels / Bluetooth connectivity for Seniors workout and most important for me very “affordable”. I ordered it through Amazon on March 12 with expected delivery March 25. Long wait but I wanted it so I accepted the wait. To my total surprise the bike was delivered on March 18. How it happened I didn’t care. The fact is that it was delivered way ahead of time. I was really happy for that. Now the hard part - anxiety was setting in because I had to assemble it and I hate reading instructions. I left it in the box unopened for two days. Finally I opened the box and started removing all parts from the box. Every part was so perfectly put in the box that I told my wife that no human could have everything in the box so tightly - it had to be a machine. After I removed all parts from the box and lay them down on the floor I realized how neat everything was. The hardware was neatly marked and packaged. The instructions were So Perfect that I was amazed at how simple it was to assemble the bike. I was really exited about how easy to read simple the instructions were. Everything matched perfectly. Even my wife made the comment that she had never seeing better down to the letter instructions. To my surprise, assembling this bike was an amazing experience. It also rides very quiet. Wait, that’s not all ... I had some questions about the bike. So I called the company’s Support representative. The young man very respectfully listen to my inquiries and asked me to email them all of my concerns or questions. So I did. In less than 36 hours I received a response. That was satisfying. But wait, they even called me to discuss my questions. Who does that ? The gentleman was courteous, respectful and truly caring about my questions about the bike. These people are Awesome. Outstanding !!! I’m having fun with my recumbent bike. It’s great. In these times of very rare caring and service for customers, shocking or not, I have to say that this people are the Very Best.

I was very surprised as to the quality of this machine. Very strudy on a carpeted floor. Doesn't wopple either. It may not have all the bells and whistles of high - end $ machines, but it has enough. The pulse rate monitor was a plus and it seems as accurate as my handheld pulse oxy meter. Very quiet when pedaling. Doesn't disturb household and can still watch and here TV clearly. Looks like it will last a long time. Buy one. Instructions aren't worded to plainly is my only minor gripe.
