I ordered this infrared heater for my outdoor patio. I like to go out there in the mornings, drink my coffee and bird watch. It’s my peaceful time. On cool mornings, this heater is a game changer. It sends out heat, but you have to position it just right and place it in the right place for the best effect. I’m elderly, so I appreciate the fact that it’s lightweight, so that I can carry it where I need to. Though lightweight, it is sturdy and easy to use. I has a remote control with all the things you need to operate it, so needless to say, that’s a big plus for me. It doesn’t take up a lot of space, and it has a safety feature that will automatically shut it down if it falls over. All in all, it’s a good heater for the price. Very satisfied.

Bought it to keep warm while handing out Halloween candy. You had to stand right next to it to get any kind of heat with it on max. Update: customer service for this product is exceptional. Have worked with them to resolve the issue

My husband rolled his eyes at me when I got this. He pointed out that we had a fire pit and we never sat on the patio and used it. I just ignored him. Now it's getting colder and we still aren't sitting out but we've agreed to keep the furnace set lower. Almost the first thing he did when his "man cave" (i.e. spare bedroom) got cold was to seek this out. Now he carries it between his man cave and his end of the sofa with it's "handle", which is actually the tip guard. The tip protection works as it should because he's already knocked it over once and it shut off. The IPX5 rating means that it should be fine leaving it outside on the patio, even if it rains. I don't plan on testing that though. I'm just too old to UN-learn that you are supposed to keep something like this from getting wet, lol.

Unfortunately, I could not review this item as it came missing the instructions and hardware needed to assemble it. The main unit seems to be substantial and well-made, but I can't tell how well it works. I initiated a customer service request through Amazon, but have never heard back from the manufacturer.

This is a nice, tall heater that provides a lot of heat output. The 1500W infrared heating is very effective, producing immediate and comfortable warmth that is perfect for a patio or backyard. The 36" tower design ensures the heat is distributed well across the area. Doesn't give off much noise and less than my old one. A key feature is the three different heat levels, which allows for excellent control and adjustment based on the temperature outside. The unit is clearly built for outdoor use with its IPX5 waterproof rating, although we exercise caution and don't leave it out there when it's raining heavily. No real assembly required. The safety features are also robust, including tip-over and overheat protection, which is essential for a tower-style appliance. It's a powerful, well-designed patio heater that works great for extending the use of your outdoor space.
