Suction power is incredible, and at this price this little machine operates like a much bigger and more expensive one. I am thinking that I might buy another to keep in the basement. One point of caution - and this wouldn’t cause me to NOT but this but you should know — the “clips” that hold the top to the bucket could be better. They’re just weak enough that I don’t have confidence in them. If I pick up the unit by the top handle, I feel like the bottom bucket could easily fall off and dump all the contents. Not a big deal. I compensate by rolling it across the floor rather than picking it up, or picking it up by the clips themselves rather than the handle. Just be aware of it…. ... show more

    • FYI: Inspect the Elastic Area of the Cloth Filter Before Using

The cloth filter for dry vacuuming comes preinstalled on this wet/dry vacuum. The open end of the cloth filter has an elastic band that is sewn into it for fitting over the filter cage. MAKE SURE THAT YOU VISUALLY INSPECT THE SEWN AREA WITH THE ELASTIC BAND. If there are areas where the sewing has come loose, it creates a gap between the elastic band and the cloth which can potentially allow dust/debris into the motor. My vacuum came with a cloth filter that had that defect and some dust did get into the cage/motor area during a brief test. ... show more

I bought this 5 Gal Vac in July of 2021 and this thing is still going strong! Get the fine dust filter cartridge for it and you won't be sorry! I just blow it out with my compressor when it gets full. I just ordered another one as a backup for my current one as I am now using it attached on my small CNC machine to suck up the dust.
