Hands down, it is the best. I work as an appliance repairman and I have used several versions of shop vacuums, and Vacmaster Professional - Beast is the best. My only two complaints are that the brackets to secure the hose will fall off, and the cord secure levers you wrap the cord on come loose. I did find a solution. First, I wrap the hose in its place, then wind the cord on its two levers and the stable air and noise defuser. While I wrap the cord, I also secure the hose using the cord so it's tied down. This trick keeps everything secure. Those are minor complaints. The power this little vacuum packs is the best I can find for such a small vacuum. Well done Vacmaster! ... show more

Purchased this to detail my car and this thing is great. The suction power is unbelievable. The different attachments are very convenient. Although the vacuum is very strong, it's not very loud, which is great! The vacuum itself isn't heavy at all, so it's easy to maneuver around. The length of the hose is a plus! I am able to sit the vacuum on the floor and reach all around the car to clean, without having to bring the vacuum inside the car with me. I haven't tried the wet vac feature or blower just yet because I only purchased for dry vac feature and overall I am very happy with this purchase. ... show more

I like the power and size of this shop vac but it isn't easy to maneuver. It easily tips over, especially on grass or carpet when dragged. The best option is to carry it but that gets cumbersome and heavy. The suction is excellent for both wet and dry use. I needed to order wand extensions to reach the corners of our 10' ceilings. I bought this for my power tools when doing diy projects at home. This thing is a beast! It’s stronger than my full size tornado house vac. I owned the small armorall vac before and this is even stronger than that. I love that it has a filter bag as well to keep the container clean. FYI: I've only used it once; and maybe I'll update this after I've had it for a while. Once assembled, it won't fit in a box. And therefore, where it will be stored might become an issue. It's a bit bulky. The lack of wheels on it makes that even more challenging; especially in a garage. It's definitely a pickup and put down shop vac. That said, its suction is impressive. The hose attachments could be better, and would allow for us to take advantage of that suction on carpet, floors, etc. The cord length is great. The hose length is great too. Great suction so it performs its main function very well. I use it to clean my cars mostly. The only things keeping it from 5 stars are; it does NOT come with a brush head attachment which is what I typically use to clean a car interior. Honestly I can't remember the last time I bought a vacuum that DIDN'T come with one. Unfortunately the hose is a larger diameter so I had to buy one. I got one made by Rigid for $5. Works fine. But let's go, Vacmaster! You need to include a brush head attachment! Then the only other very minor quibble is the hose storage seems like an afterthought. And there really isn't a place to wrap the power cord so maybe when they eventually replace this model, they will design smarter hose and cord management. But, I would definitely buy this vacuum again if I had to do it all over again. It cleans well and that's the most important thing for me at the end of the day. Recommended! ... show more

Why doesn't it have wheels? You have to pick it up and move it or it will leave black marks as you drag it around. Suction is great. Will not use it as a wet vac after reading the other reviews.
