I actually bought this for a saltwater fish tank. I was dealing with dynos making my tank very dirty. The best way to kill then is with UV. I installed this and within days I saw results. It was very easy to install. It has a stainless steel body, so it should do well with the saltwater. I’m glad it came with an extra UV bulb those can sometimes be hard to find later on. It feels very sturdy especially with the bracing brackets it came with.

This whole house water filter is a compact, and it knocks out bacteria without adding a single chemical. Since install I’ve stopped thinking twice about the water coming out of any tap. Spare bulb ships in the box, so the first scheduled swap is already on the shelf.
