I used this in a shed in my backyard for an outdoor shower. I made the cold water inlet come from my outdoor hose and had the hot water outlet go to the outdoor shower. I turned the thermostat to just about 125 degrees and this thing works EXCELLENT!!

It took me a bit to figure out the way to make the tea kettle work. You have to tap the button 3 times. It sets the temperature and then it begins to heat. I love the smaller size, perfect for my kitchen. You will love the water.

Good little water heater, working fine so far. However I would say it is a difficult install if you don’t have any plumbing skills as it came with no pipes or fittings to hook up (those were expensive) also the power supply doesn’t come wired into it, so you gotta do that which is easy but again if you’ve never done it you might not figure it out easy. Also power cord is short so if you’re not near an outlet get a quality 12 gauge or less extension cord. ... show more

Good value, easy install, and General Electric quality. Amazon sold and shipped the water heater to my door for 25% less then the cost at a big box store. Everything was included and I was able to install the water heater in less than an hour. It was a new install in a tiny house. It is a ten gallon unit; therefore, you can take a quick shower. For perspective an average RV water heater is 5 to 7 gallons. The water heater does not take up a lot of space.
