  • Great!
Great product! Heats my 300sq ft shed nicely. I burned a lot of oak and cedar last winter. 4 cedar logs cut to size would last about 3 hours. Oak would burn longer. Installation through the roof wasn’t too bad. Used duravent pipes and through the roof kit. Love the appearance and functionality of this little thing! ... show more

  • The worst stove I’ve ever owned! Don’t but this Junk!
I’ve owned many wood stoves in my 74 years of life, this is garbage. It doesn’t draw enough air to create a good draft and the fire box is way too small. I have a small log cabin of 600 square feet, thought this would be a good fit, but all its fits for is the dump! I have a perfectly good brand new chimney and stove pipe. The stove works once a good fire is going, but getting it to going is a mess! This stove will not build a draft to remove smoke until is running hot and really cooking. Really no draft when cold or cool and the recommended size of logs really don’t work in practicality. Overall it’s junk and going in the trash! If I could give it negative numbers I would. Total waste of money, don’t buy it! Beware! The stove went on the trash heap yesterday, worthless except for scrap metal! 585.00 junk! ... show more

  • Do not expect the shipping process to leave it pristine.
So many people are reporting shipping damage (and I had some) that it becomes a product packing problem of the manufacturer, not just an Amazon or UPS issue. I'm keeping it - but - it has at least *three* areas where tumbling a 140lb steel object is problematic. The latch arm is bent in some with the wooden handle cracked (but fully functional...), the right side corner of the outer shell is bent (but fully functional...) and the top plate on the left corner is bent over (but fully functional...). I'm not going to return it... but... it ***clearly*** needs a 2" thick hard foam layer or an inner/outer case or something. I like the stove (haven't run it yet, I'm taking it to the cabin) but I can tell it is a good value for the price. But maybe if you can pick it up locally rather than having it shipped... ijs.... ... show more

  • Right size for a small house
Very cute. Nice for Small place. I haven't gotten all of my piping yet. That stuff is expensive. I know it will be worth it though. The handle is real hard to open and shut although I'm weaker than most, my nephew, big and strong said it was hard to do without using two hands...one on the stove and one to push the handle and of course you can't put a hand on a hot stove. I've been opening and closing it in hopes of wearing down the Very thick, very nice roping on the door..I forget what it's called. I'm sure it'll be perfect once I can operate the door. ... show more

  • Small Size is Impractical
After being super excited about getting my new wood-burning stove installed (which can be very complicated since no clear guidelines are available for needed parts and installation of the flue and chimney stack), I have come to find out that the small size of the stove is very limiting: 1) At best, I can fit two 8" length split wood pieces in at one time (don't want to say logs here), 2) the small size of the wood requires constant monitoring and continuous feeding of more wood before the hot embers go cold, 3) refueling requires almost a new relight with twigs as the base, then lighter, then add split wood pieces, 4) the bottom is limiting for ash storage and requires frequent dumping after no more than 4 days of burning, 5) can't load the fireplace with enough wood to last more than 2 hours at best so overnight heat is practically impossible, 6) with the blower, the heat barely circulates enough for a room size of 160SF so I totally undersized my 650SF cottage, 7) item came with broken baffle and had to call manufacturer for replacement which was kindly sent but without instructions on how to install, 8) the product was new so support didn't know how to do install it themselves...I ultimately figured it out by removing all of the baffles and started anew with reinstalling them. I would look for another wood burning stove if could do again. ... show more

  • baffle position directions needed!
arrived with boogered up top because of poor shipping containment. straightened and repainted it. with how crappy the packing is, do any arrive unscathed? top firebrick baffle broken. Good service by US Stove for a quick replacement but zero directions on how these baffles should be repositioned. stove nice and heavy. yet to light but suspect small size handy to not overheat a small room. ... show more

  • Beware, good wood stove if its not damaged
Beware.... I bought this through amazon and it came in no box, upside down, scratched and broken. Returned it and bought the same one from tractor supply and its great. Came on a small pallet and in a quality box. Seems like a fine medium sized wood stove.

  • Great fireplace but may need fixing to work properly
Great little wood stove! After I figured out why it wouldn’t draft and smoke out the house when I opened the door to the stove. During shipment the two upper fire bricks (insulation) fell down blocking the flue. Fixed them back in place and couldn’t be happier with it.
