I purchased this treadmill because of the convenience of using it then putting it under my bed and also you can incline it with the remote and not have to do it manually like others. I was recently diagnosed with inflammatory arthritis in my hip & knee so the best thing is to move. I live in a state w/four seasons so I needed to be able to use it when the weather is a deterrent and I also had to watch because my stride is a little off. I had a learning curve the first time to start but after that it has been been smooth sailing. It is a great walking workout. If I get strong enough I may even run on it. It is sooo quiet while running and will not interfere with anyone else in the next room. * The only noise that may be troublesome would be the the sound when increasing/decreasing the speed & incline. It is loud. I thought purchasing a higher end model it would come with a mute button.* Overall, I am so happy I purchased it, especially with the remote incline. *I could not even imagine getting into a good stride and wanting to incline it then climbing off to put it up manually then getting back on.* If you are looking for a quality under the desk treadmill you will love this one! ... show more

Great quality. I bought this for my apartment to try to get my steps in. it is quiet and easy to use. it comes with a little remote to change the speed and to pause/stop the workout. It is very sturdy and holds me up - all 173 pounds - without any swaying or movement. it is small enough to just slide under the bed when you arent using it, but it is very heavy so i would recommend having someone help you carry it if you plan on taking it up steps. I wish that it went faster but the top speed is 4, which is perfect for walking. If you want to jog, i would look elsewhere. if your plan is only to walk to get steps in or to keep you moving while you work or watch tv, this is perfect. ... show more

Product came shipped quickly and in good condition, it comes with a good set for easy maintenance. Is light that one adult person should have no problem moving it. Pre Assembled and pre oiled. Though I did add a bit more oil later. It's easy to maneuver and set away though sadly it doesn't fold, like the higher end one. But thats the price of being $150 cheaper. It is still relatively small in profile that I can roll under my bed Honestly I like it since it allows me to not deal with the weather/environment outside where cold and allergies can cause me a lot of issues and I can do it in the morning and night without worry for my safety, though I still do some walks to get my daily dose of vitamin d. Top speed is about 4mph (ideally you would do 0.6mph for doing stuff at your desk, and higher for just watching stuff on your monitor and such. Though You will likely get to about 1-2 mph for a constant rate), this is a pure walking/jogging machine honestly. and its purpose is for under desk & no frontal blockage to view tv or your desk. Only con i'd say is that its vents are facing downwards so a heavy carpeted floor without any type of mat is not ideal. But you can alleviate that with many solutions. ... show more

    • BEST-KEPT SECRET IN TREADMILLS!!

I bought this treadmill during the Amazon Prime Days, and it was a little less than the usual price (which is still worth every penny for what you get!) Here is what I love about this treadmill: 1.) So far - and I've been using it pretty regularly for a few weeks since purchase - it has functioned as promised. It inclines (so far I'm only using the 2 setting) and increases speed - apparently by 2 digits each time (so be aware of that; if you click twice you'll go up 4 digits in speed!) One click of the remote will bring you from 0.6 which is the starting speed - to 0.8. I'm not sure how fast it goes; so far I'm only on 2.6 in speed. 2.) Because it has no guardrail/bars, you get a stronger workout than at the gym where you can hold on to the bars. This is an even better workout than I get from my fast walks outside and has now become my preferred cardio workout. Never fail to break a serious sweat on this. And I feel every bit of the workout in my legs, hips and arms. I swear I'm already losing inches on it! 3.) It does take a little getting used to in terms of balance because there are no bars. If you have any issues with balance, put it next to something you can grab or hold onto if you start to fall or get dizzy. I have an autoimmune issue that causes balance problems, but I took it slower for the first day or so to acclimate to it. I do think the incline helps since you are leaning forward naturally when on an incline. 4.) The remote takes some getting used to in terms of remembering how to power down speed or kick it up a notch. If you get the remote turned around you'll find yourself wondering why it's not working, lol! The wrist band should be at the bottom; there is an instructional guide with the machine. There is no "off" button- just clicking the "on" button again will "pause" it and hitting it for a longer time stops the machine completely. For those who struggle with balance (like me, see #3), I would suggest lowering the speed at the end of your workout until you get it to the entry speed of 0.6, then pause or stop it completely. That helps with balance in my experience, so I'm not going from a fast moving position to standing absolutely still on it suddenly. 5.) So far, all of the digital display works correctly. Once I "End" the session (see above for stopping the machine), I turn the machine "off" (there is a switch to turn it on and off but it won't start the treadmill by itself. You need the remote for the belt to move). Then I unplug it when the display goes dark. 6.) Praying this machine lasts a very long time! I did a LOT of research on home treadmills to find what I was looking for - and VERY FEW offer an automatic incline like this one does. When they do, it's usually MUCH MORE $$. This is a rare gem!! I would buy it again in a heartbeat!! ... show more
