Got this to encourage me to hit that 8-10k steps a day goal as a stay at home mom. Two of the main things I looked for were compact and quiet which this walking pad delivers on both. It's very sturdy despite being so small. I appreciate how compact it is, especially when the bar is down. To me it's also very light to reposition or put in anothe room. It hits the perfect speed for me to walk but also stays quiet which is important since it's currently against the wall that is shared to my 4 year olds bedroom. Following the instructions I have oiled the belt prior to use and will oil every 125 miles, took about 5 minutes to set up at most. Overall very happy with my purchase. ... show more

    • Awesome little treadmill
I usually never write reviews, but I love this dandy little treadmill so much, I feel like it deserves a mention. Working from home for the past year, I took the plunge and bought the UREVO to help with this sedentary lifestyle during the work week. I've been using it for brisk walks at 3.4 mph, 4x a day, 5-6 days per week, for over a month now. It's been working as smoothly as Day 1, and it's awesome. I love this thing. (For reference, I'm 5'6", 130 lbs, athletic build.) ***Before I begin, I've figured out the issue with TV remotes being able to control the speed of treadmill. If you turn the treadmill on using the controls at the handlebar, the unit is unaffected by the TV remote. If you turn on the unit using the remote it comes with, it wakes up the infrared sensor on the treadmill, which then reads feedback from the TV remote.*** PROS: * Super quiet. The motor is very quiet, and the bulk of the noise you hear is the thumping of your feet as you walk. My cat isn't bothered by the noise at all, even at 2 feet away, so that's a plus. * Size matters. This is small enough to place in my living room without it standing out like a giant behemoth. At around 55 lbs, I can pick it up and move it around with ease when I clean the house. If I want to put it away for good, I can store it upright in the closet, or under my bed. * Power and belt width. At 2.5 hp and 16.9" wide, it's one of the most powerful and widest treadmills in its class. Especially at under $350. * I've used it for up to 40 mins at a time, but haven't noticed the burning smell that some have reported at all. The motor, located in the front left of the machine does get warm, but never hot. CONS: * I'm not certain that the tripmeter is correct. I wear a Garmin fitness watch, and the distances never match up. I have a feeling that the tripmeter is showing greater than actual miles because it shows 1.5 miles rather quickly lol. However, for me, this is less of an issue, since I'm using the treadmill to maintain 12k steps per day, so that's all that matters to me. * There are tiny specks of the tread that have fallen off and ended up on the floor towards the rear of the treadmill, likely due to normal wear. This appears to be normal as I walk on it, but I'm wondering if replacement belts can be purchased from UREVO, as needed. It's been over a month now, and I can't express enough how happy I am with this treadmill. I'm pretty sure my friends are tired of hearing how much I love it. One went out and bought one herself, lol. I physically feel a whole lot better, and I'm sure it's helped in maintaining my mental well-being as well. One of the best things I bought in a while.     • Great little treadmill, perfect for ultra cold winters

I’ll try to info dump as much as I can for all the details: I bought this to use between my office standing desk and in my bedroom for tv watching. So far so good. I’ve had it for almost a month. I like the features the bar had to offer which made me choose it and I’m glad I did. The buttons are handy. I haven’t used it at my standing desk yet but it’s perfect for my room and fits under my bed if I want it out of the way. I took off one star because I feel like the belt slips a bit more than I like and the increase button is a bit too close to the 6mph button so I once went from .6 to 6mph very quickly which was a little scary. It’s not horrible by any means but I wasn’t expecting it. I only walk I don’t run—I’m not a runner by any means. The speed settings are perfect for me. I like that I can pause the workout too. I do think if you have a particularly wide stride, none of these little machines will work for you. I occasionally scrape the edge of the treadmill as I walk. It makes a loud beep when you push the buttons. It doesn’t bother me but it’s not discreet if you have an infant sleeping for example. I would say the treadmill is not very loud. It makes a reasonable amount of noise but it’s definitely a bit quieter than the older more advanced models I’ve walk on at the gym. A monkey could set this up it’s so easy. Just pull the bar up and use the screws to lock it into place. I carried it in its box from my entryway and up the stairs to my room which was wayyyy more of a workout than the set up (I’m like a ~150lb woman who doesn’t really exercise). It was just barely doable but I did it. As for the remote people, my Samsung dvd, my lg tv, and my Apple TV all have remotes and literally none of them connect to the treadmill. Just check first before you run and you’ll be fine. The remote that comes with the treadmill to run it is very basic but works fine for me. I prefer to use the buttons on the hand bar anyway.
