    • Game changer while working
My office finally approved for us to bring in a walking pad to the office to utlize with our standing desks. I did a fair bit of research and finally landed on the Urevo 2.5 HP Treadmill. I have been using it for several weeks now and I am quite pleased with my purchase. I spend 4 days/week walking for up to 4 hours a day and I am more productive and have more energy while working. PROs: 1. It is a quiet machine, not silent :) There is a slight whooshing sound with each step, but it is nothing too distracting and does not detract from working. I have been on several work calls while using and the sound is not noticiable at all. And if it is too loud, just walk slower! 2. It doesn't automatically turn off when you step off. This may be a con for some, but if I have to step off to go to the printer, I like that I don't disrupt the office with a bunch of beeps. 3. I like that it came with the track oil. The instructions were helpful in learning how to apply it. 4. Wide and long track pad. Some follks in my office purchased narrower ones and I have heard them express that they wished they had a bigger area to walk on. CONS: 1. Mobility - This is a HEAVY unit. Yes, there are wheels on it, but they don't help a lot. Don't imagine that you can easily slide it in and out from underneath something ESPECIALLY horizontally. Additionally, while the handle folds down, the unit base does not, so it takes up space for storage purposes. 2. Adjusting the track pad - it was a bit nerve wracking figuring out the sweet spot with adjusting the track pad. I am glad they provided the hex key, but it took several turns to get it to the right spot. 3. Applying the track oil. It would be nice if they provided a brush that can reach all the way to the middle of the pad, so that there is an even amount across the bottom. 4. Remote/ Noise - You cannot silence the beeping. It would be great if there was a mute button on the remote or a way to deactivate the beeping that comes with each button push. I understand a beep happening with the machine is turned off and on, but with each speed change...come on. ... show more

I absolutely adore this treadmill. This is my first “under desk” treadmill but my third treadmill as an adult. I purchased this one primarily because of the increased speed of 7.6 mph. I wanted one that I could do interval runs and get a productive workout in a short timeframe. I am in graduate school and our youngest is special needs. Between my time-consuming studies and our daughter’s ABA therapy sessions twice a week, going to the gym or walking at the park is not an option. I can clear one mile in 15 minutes, shower, and get back to my studies within an hour! If you are questioning if you should get this treadmill, I assure you it is the correct choice! The remote is awesome. It allows you to select a maximum speed of 3.8mph before having to use the buttons on the handle to increase your speed past 3.8mph. This one is in my office alongside my stationary bike 🚴🏾 The treadmill is slim enough to store, but for me, I just leave it out since my office is not highly traveled. It’s quiet and maintains a smooth surface for easy power walking or running. I did see others complain about the locking mechanism for the handle. When it is folded down, the best way to move it is with one hand under the treadmill and another to the opposite side allowing for easy manipulation. Do not hold onto the handle as I do not believe it locks when it’s in the downward position. No complaints at all! Gets the job done and will help me get back into shape much quicker! DO NOT ASK ME REPAIR QUESTIONS OR HOW TO REPLACE BROKEN ITEMS. I AM A CUSTOMER NOT THE MANUFACTURER! READ THE DESCRIPTION OR REACH OUT TO THE MANUFACTURER. I WILL NOT BE ANSWERING ANYMORE QUESTIONS! I'm very satisfied with my purchase -- the extra width and length was a must for me. (A truer image lies in-between the first and second pic). Just a heads up! It's quiet and sturdy, too, so I've had comfortable walks and jogs so far. I'm a fairly light jogger but sure it would easy to rev up. I like to keep the handlebar up but it comes down with the flip of a switch. Very easy to move too, with the wheels. And BTW -- if you keep it on carpet be sure to get the mat for underneath. The only con for me is that the speed is going up and down in "even" increments of "2". . . (So, for instance, I can't get 2.7 or 2.9). They also offer ones with incline, which we didn't realize at the time. But all in all, we are totally satisfied with what we have. Peace, health and happiness to all!! 🥰💞💃 ... show more
