Set up for entrance only every night. Big old Tom Cat (Not my cat) figured out how to follow my cats in thru the door. The problem is this is a Feral cat - He freaked out when he saw me coming to open the door the other morning - Ran full speed at the door and boke the clear plastic door. The door broke at the hinge pins and that was the end of that door. Before that happened the weather stripping pealed off and the magnet fell out. I managed to glue both back together but rather than cut a different hole into a steel exterior door I am ordering a replacement door as this door was very easy to install as long as you have something handy to cut steel with. I used an 4 1/2" angle grinder with a cutting wheel. ... show more

I bought this product to use for my house kitten but to access the laundry room. We were tired of the cat litter stinking at times and wanted to close the door, so to resolve that we got this door and have the lock on both way entry. Not really necessary for us because we don't want cat going one way or other, but it was the nicest one that was there for the value, so the extra locks are just a "perk" you can say ... show more
