Just what I needed. TSC and Lowes do not carry this type of piece. If you're using the 6" to 8" increaser/reducer to go from a 6" stove pipe to an 8" chimney, you're doing it wrong without this. The crimps have to be on the 6" side down to the stove. Crimped 8" should go in the uncrimped 8" end of this adapter. Don't mess around with fire in your house if you aren't comfortable with it. ... show more

It was fast to install and should work well. It is tapered so material should not collect in it when cleaning the stovepipe.
