I've had this external hard drive going on about 2 months at this point and it's been an absolute life saver! My laptop was running low on storage space, and a friend had recommended I purchase this exact product and I'm very glad I decided to do so. It's incredibly simple to use, just plug it into any free USB slot you've got on your device, and it immediately starts working. The drive itself feels sturdy, and is pretty lightweight, I personally keep it underneath my laptop stand so it takes up zero desk space. It's fantastic for keeping things like videos, photos, music, and documents stored without them cluttering up my main laptop drive. Good for backing things up essentially. However, it is not great for running games or applications, whilst it is possible, applications run very slowly on it. That hasn't been much of a problem for me as I typically just use the drive for the first aforementioned uses (storing files). Overall, a great purchase, and it totally saved me from having to deal with storage shortages on my current device, would recommend!

So far, I have had no issues. I purchased this drive, because I wanted to install a game from Steam. I tried with a different external drive, but because that one was not Mac OS compatible, Steam wouldn't allow me to add it. This one is actually Mac compatible, without having to reformat it! I just plugged it in, went to my Steam account and am currently installing my game. So far no connectivity issues. Design wise, it's not too big to bulky...If I travel with it, it'll be easy to pack in a laptop case. Installation was super easy...again, no reformatting necessary, just plugged it in. I'll probably have more details and an updated review, once my game is installed and whether I'm able to access it and play it. Before ordering this particular drive, I tried a Seagate drive...not Mac compatible, though the product listing shows it as Mac OS compatible. I'm just glad this one is Mac compatible and so far, no issues.

Design & Portability One of the biggest selling points is how slim and lightweight it is. It easily fits in a pocket, backpack, or laptop sleeve without adding bulk. The minimalist design looks clean, and the textured finish helps resist fingerprints and minor scratches. It feels sturdy enough for everyday use, though I’d still recommend a protective case if you travel with it a lot. Setup & Compatibility Setup was basically plug-and-play. I used it on Windows, and it was recognized instantly—no extra drivers or software needed. Great hard drive. Use it to record shows with DVR and has no issues. Might struggle to record 3 NCAA basketball games simultaneously but that's my issue more than the hard drive, haha.

Perfect, use this as my pictures backup. Previously used a 512GB USB thumb drive and this is much faster copying 256GB of data. Cut the time down to a few hours
