At first it was a pain in the rear. Not the elliptical, it was HUBBY (grin). He always get in the way but knows about putting things together as I do in repairing machines, which I know nothing about. Back to the elliptical; it did take a bit of time to get the electrical cord found and then a outlet needed, but that has nothing to do with the product. Once we figured it out (simple stuff seems at time stress him something and like many males he doesn't need to ready a instruction books). It is easy to use, comfortable, no stress in my using it. Has cancer 5 and half years ago, given 6 months to live (they forgot about GOD) so my brain doesn't work like it used to. I enjoy using it while I am on the computer or other stuff. Definitely will recommend it to anyone who is wondering it if worth buying. The remote works great when I want to increase, slow it down and whatever it can do, (memory missing here again).     • Passive movement — not workout and noisy!!

If you have your own office and shut the door it’s ok. When you’re switching it on/off and between modes or increasing/decreasing the speed it is very loud and obnoxious. Thankfully I have my own office but it was so bad that I had to close my door. When you’ve finally adjusted it, it just goes on its own without any pedaling necessary. When I think “elliptical” I expect to be able to make it more challenging by increasing the difficulty not just the speed. This doesn’t boast giving you an actual workout and states it’s more for rehabilitation. Regardless, whatever speed you put it at, even all the way up to 12, it is just moving your legs/knees and it a constant noise. If that’s what you want is kind of a massage or joint movement, sure this does the job. I’m physically doing nothing and it’s doing all the work. Maybe it’ll tone, maybe it’ll help my knees, but I’m not an expert in this field and have no clue how it’s supposed to help other than giving you a warmup. I do wish it was quieter. This is the first one I’ve ever owned so maybe it’s quiet compared to those, but if I was in a cubicle farm there’s no way I would use this.
