Saw on tv with my dad, and he had been wanting one of these. So we went for it. It is well made, sturdy, easy to use. It helps with circulation in his legs while he watches every episode of “GUN SMOKE” ever made. He sits down and is able to comfortably use without awkward sitting posture. The machine does help move the elliptical which is great for the extra little push to get moving. My dad wears a size 14us shoe and his entire foot was able to fit on the steps. Lots of different modes and functions and pre programed selections. It also does REVERSE cycling which is an added bonus. The remote seems easy to use, but my dad can barely use a tv remote. You have the option of manually turning on and changing speed on the top of machine. Almost silent . The only thing, is the power cord may be too short to reach available power outlets. Nothing an extension cord can’t fix, but still extremely satisfied.

I originally got this to exercise but it felt more like a gentle way of doing PT on your legs. Then I got hurt on my knee and this actually was very useful in helping me maintain gentle movement to stay mobile. I am pleased with the settings and also with how quiet it is. The speed settings are ok. I would not use this for exercising as it doesn’t really go fast enough for that but it does help to make sure you’re at least getting circulation to your feet if you sit too long.

How many times I have sat too long immobile and have gotten stiff? Well, this machine fixes that problem!! It fits under a desk (or next to a chair or sofa). You place your feet on the two foot petals and turn it on. You can adjust speed, time etc. and the machine does the rest! Like a treadmill, this machine has a built-in motor that moves the foot pedals for you. You can even have it go in reverse. Because the motor moves your feet and legs, you don't need to manually move the petals and get distracted. It's so easy while sitting, and working on something or just watching TV, the machine keeps my feet and legs moving. I no longer feel stiff and feel refreshed after sitting for longer periods of time, thanks to this machine! I highly recomend it to anyone who needs to sit for long periods of time and would like to get some exercise. Because it's super quiet, you can easily use it in an office environment without disturbing your office mates. Seniors will enjoy having their feet and legs exercised while sitting. For certain post surgery exercises, this is a good option to help you in your healing process. It's also reasonably priced and seems to be of excellent quality. Give it a try- I think you'll enjoy it as much as I do!

When I ordered this (and it was probably my bad, though I imagine others will make the same mistake), I thought it was a floor elliptical. I imagined being able to use it like an elliptical beneath my desk, where the weight could be changed, just a great way to work out while I'm at work. Instead, the feet move on their own. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get them to work well on their own. With my feet resting on the pedals, it moves, but it's like I have to tense my muscles to get them to move without me moving them. So far, I haven't been successful even once. My feet try to keep pushing it forward. Which is fine, it has a manual mode, but there's no way to add more tension or make it harder. So you just zoom along with nothing to add any weight to it. Anyway, this one isn't for me.
