This sitting elliptical machine is just what I needed to exercise my legs following Hip surgery. the 30 min cycles are just enough as I do one in the morning and another one in the evening. It has 16 preset programs, or you can manually set your own program. it records the calories burned, the speed you are going, the distance you have gone. Easy to use and great if you cannot get out of the house for a walk and exercise. Great little machine.

Read the USERS MANUAL carefully. I found it not easy to understand the instructions to operate the elliptical machine. Also I replaced the remote battery as I couldn't make it work and thought the battery was dead. HOWEVER, after replacing the battery and better understanding the instructions /directions, THE ELLIPTICAL MACHINE WORKS GREAT! ALSO, I REALIZED TO MAKE THE REMOTE WORK, IT HAS TO BE POINTED RIGHT AT THE SCREEN ON THE MACHINE. NOTE THE SMALL BUBBLE ON THE FRONT OF THE REMOTE. Original battery probably was good, I just didn't realize you need to point the remote directly at the screen on the machine. THIS MACHINE IS A WINNER. IT WORKS VERY WELL AND EASILY ONCE YOU UNDERSTAND THE DIRECTIONS.

We are using this every day. It is great to use while watching TV - much better than being a couch potato. It's enough to get the blood moving, but not so much as to be too tiring. The controls are not well described - you have to push the power button twice: once to turn on the power, and once to start operation. Then you can set the mode, speed, and direction. This was not at all clear from the "manual". The remote control is pretty useless - you have to get it close and pointed directly at the control panel to work, at which point, it is easier just to press the control panel directly. Once you get used to the controls, it's easy.
