A friend recommended this for low-impact movement for a stiff knee and I am so thankful she did! There’s enough resistance and movement I can “feel” it later, but not enough to make me sore (so, no real “workout” unfortunately). Within a few weeks she had increased range of motion in not only knee but also hip, and could handle stairs better. I’ve used this two days and expect to see similar results.is it going to make you toned and drop pounds? Nope. The elliptical itself it absolutely fantastic. So lightweight and easy to assemble that I was almost certain that it wouldn't be durable. So far, I was wrong. The remote took some understanding (function cycles through the display options), but it was relatively easy. Only complaint i have is that my desk chair, having wheels. Wants to naturally push away from the elliptical, so I have to grip my desk so that I won't wheel all the way out of my cubicle. I wonder if I can get tiny wheel chaulks? 🤔 ... show more

Not exactly what I expected. But your circulation definitely gets going. Don't know if my muscles will get much of a workout, but my heart rate definitely increases. I'm disabled and it's just what I needed.

I was looking for one of these for a while. This one is small and quiet which is what I wanted. It is well built and easy to put together. My only complaint is that the plastic has a film on it that makes you slip off. It even has a residue that will stay on your shoes or socks or slippers and you’ll feel it on hardwood floors and tile. I had bought two other machines I didn’t like and I liked this one a lot so what I wound up doing was I used nail polish remover and wiped down the feet to try to get the residue off. It didn’t work 100% so then I took sandpaper and scuffed up the pedals. Seemed to do the trick, but kind of ridiculous that I had to do that. Other than that, I really like it. The idea of the machine doing the pedaling for you takes some getting used to- but that's a me thing- but so far so good. It’s great to have when I'm at the desk all day which is why I got it. ... show more
