  • Has the largest pedal range (12cm) but low profile design allows plenty of clearance under desk
Color: Silvery
The media could not be loaded. Over the last few months, I’ve picked up a couple of these under desk ellipticals as gifts for older family members. Some of them have limited workout options due to their age and mobility issues and spend a lot of their time at a desk or on the sofa. It’s one of the few leg exercise machines that’s both easy on the joints and can be used while sitting down. Since I also spend a lot of time at my desk, I decided to try this one out for myself. Of all the under desk elliptical machines I’ve tested so far, this particular model has the longest stride and the largest pedal range measuring 12cm from the lowest to the highest point of the foot pedal. I measured this using a laser meter, and it has about 1–2cm larger pedal range than any of the other ones I’ve tried. Even with the larger pedal range, this has a very low profile with a sleek, minimal design, so my legs have plenty of clearance room under the desk. It also has the quietest operation I’ve tested, both in manual and auto modes. This is big plus especially for any desk environment. The only area where this model falls a bit short is the maximum speed of level 12 in auto mode. It's just a bit slower than the other models I've tested. However, for the most effective workout on these machines, I’ve found that manual pedaling is the way to go. And this one has noticeably more resistance in manual mode compared to others, which gives me a better workout for the same number of reps. I still hop on a rower or bike for a proper cardio session as this in no way comes close to replacing that. But the extra calories I burn on this while sitting at my desk definitely adds up over time. The pedaling motion isn’t too disruptive either, so I’m able to keep working for most tasks while I'm on this. My favorite mode I use on this is to start it in auto mode at the default speed level 1, then press the function button until the display shows the rotation count. I then pedal manually, going faster than the auto setting which isn't hard to do at level 1 speed. The rotation count then ends up being my version of daily steps count (I divide this by 5 for a rough conversion to walking steps) all while staying productive at my desk. ... show more

  • Good Option for Gentle Movement; Best Suited for Limited Mobility
Color: Orange Pro
I recently tried out this under-desk elliptical with the goal of fitting in some movement during my workday. First off, assembly was a breeze—took maybe five minutes tops, and they even include a little screwdriver, which I appreciated. The whole thing is pretty lightweight and has a built-in handle, so it’s super easy to move around or stash away when not in use. I had no trouble fitting it under my standard desk, and the power cord (just about 5 feet) was long enough for my setup, though if your outlet isn’t close by, you may need an extension cord. Using it, there are two modes: you can pedal manually or let the machine do the work with its built-in motor, which comes with adjustable speeds. Switching between speeds and modes is simple thanks to the included remote—no need to bend down and mess with the unit, which I think is a great feature, especially for those with limited mobility. The display is a bright red LED (not LCD, as described), and it tracks your time, distance, step count, and calories, though I take those numbers with a grain of salt. Functionally, this feels like it’s best suited for folks who need gentle, low-impact movement—think seniors, those recovering from injury, or anyone who sits for long stretches and wants to keep blood circulating. If you’re hoping to get a workout or meaningfully burn calories, this isn’t going to cut it. The motorized modes help move your legs without much effort from you, so it’s more about staying limber than actual cardio. One downside: the instruction manual isn’t much help when it comes to explaining the different modes. I had to figure out the differences by trial and error. Also, while it’s definitely quieter than a full-sized elliptical, it’s not completely silent, and I found the movement a bit awkward while trying to focus on work. Your experience may vary. All in all, for the right person (someone with limited mobility, or anyone advised to keep their legs moving throughout the day), this could be a useful tool. Just don’t expect it to replace your daily walk or gym session. ... show more

  • Quiet, Easy-to-Use Leg Exerciser That’s Great for Daily Movement
Color: Orange Pro
I’ve been using this under desk elliptical to sneak in some movement while working and watching TV, and it’s been a good fit. The motion is smooth and very low impact, which makes it easy on the knees. It’s clearly designed with seniors and office workers in mind — it gets the legs moving without feeling strenuous or awkward. The dual modes are useful. In manual mode, I can pick from 12 different speeds to match how much effort I want to put in, while the automatic programs give a nice hands-off option when I don’t want to think about settings. I also like being able to pedal both forward and backward to hit different muscles. The remote control is a smart addition. It’s much easier to adjust speed or switch modes without bending down, especially if you’re sitting at a desk. The LCD display gives a clear readout of time, distance, and calories, which helps keep me motivated. Noise-wise, it’s very quiet — just a faint hum. I’ve used it during video calls without anyone noticing. The non-slip mat helps keep it stable on hardwood, though I’d recommend checking the placement before starting if your floors are very smooth. A couple of minor things: it’s lightweight enough to carry by the built-in groove, but it’s still a bit awkward to move if you’re switching rooms often. Also, while it’s great for light to moderate activity, it’s not going to replace a full workout — think of it more as a gentle way to stay active. Overall, it’s a well-designed, user-friendly machine that makes it easy to add movement into a sedentary day. ... show more
