I need knee replacement so I got this to strengthen up for surgery and use for therapy after, but plan to keep on using it! At first, I did not realize it comes preset to Level 9, thought it was Level 1, so when I first tried to pedal it was so difficult I thought my legs were much weaker than I imagined, and wondered what Level 9 must be like! Haha. Thankfully Level 1 is a breeze. It is so quiet. I have it on carpet and it does move if I am reclined and pedaling even on level 1, I guess because that is a pushing outward form of pedaling rather than down, so I need to stabilize it better. It fits great under the coffee table out of the way, too! Time passes quickly watching tv, so that helps. And even on Level 1, pedaling fast, you can feel some aerobic benefit! This is a terrific deal. The unit does its job with style. Took only half an hour to assemble and begin using. It's a bit heavy for table use, however it works well there too. They give a lifetime guarantee. It is very well made and a pleasure to use. Someone contacted me and asked a technical question which I am not prepared to give. The unit goes from nominal resistance to significant strain. I use it every day and enjoy the exercise. I can't imagine using it under a desk, but I'm sure the people producing it had this in mind. Bike is pretty nice…resistance goes up pretty high and good for even me, a martial artist. Bands are a joke….no resistance at all. If you put a piece of tape over the underside of the stand bolt head, (on the two stand pieces), it will are assemble easier. I had to soak the foot straps in hot water to get them on, but then took them off because I don’t see the need for them…the surface of the pedal is quite good for keeping your shoe in place. Very sturdy, I didn’t need the pad, easy to carry handle. It looks pretty easy to put my own resistance straps on….all in all, a good buy for me for winter use. ... show more

We used this machine strictly for strike recovery of a paralyzed arm and leg. They say that repetition is key to neuroplasticity and reconnecting the brain to the limb. That said, we are hard on the machine as it's used for both arm cycling and leg cycling. We change out the paddles daily as it comes with foot peddles and arm peddles. So it wasn't surprising when after a year the peddler arm stripped and we could no longer use the peddle on one side. I made sure I had done the warranty part way back when it first came (DO THE WARRANTY) and contacted the company to ask if they could send a replacement arm. They actually offered to replace the entire unit! Lifetime warranty! While my husband's arm and leg are still considered paralytic, he has movement in both and is building strength constantly. I would purchase again in a heartbeat because of the benefits of the motion and the integrity of the company. They are awesome! ... show more

Hi there customer service, Anyone looking for a under the desk for work or couch to exercise bike this one is for you all.. I promise. I have recently been diagnosed with RA and pretty much in my knees and hands and arms. I'm in pretty bad shape at the moment unfortunately, hard to move around I was told to exercise as much as I can, and right now I can hardly walk.. My husband and I decided for me to look for an couch bike, and or under the desk bike. I did research for days, and came across the LifePro they sell a flexcycle pro bike that not only works your feet, but also you can work your hands and arms, and comes with elastic bands too to exercise as well. So I purchased it on Amazon during the Prime days, and just received it on the 13th of October, yes actually Friday the 13th.. LOL.. I have been daily doing at least a min of 1/2 hour a day, for my feet to work out my knees, and so far it seems actually to be helping and seems better. Amen right I had an little issue with noise inside the bike, and they have a lifetime warranty for their products. I called them and emailed and text them. They were happy to accommodate right away, and I sent them a video for them to hear the noise, so they knew that I wasn't lying or anything like this. I just received another bike Fed/EX to my home at NO cost a complete brand new one. How fun is this.. awesome and friendly customer service as well.. I purchased this because I have a friend with a broken foot and I'm trying to help with some non weight bearing training. This FlexCycle is awesome for a cardio push AND upper body workout! Easy to assemble (aside from not knowing 1 of the pedals was reverse threaded- so NOT righty tighty LOL)- just bolt on the legs & pedals of choice using the provided multi wrench and you're ready to go! So far I've only used the arm pedaling function, but it is fantastic! Very smooth, with great resistance options. The resistance dial doesn't match up with the numbers after "2" but you can count the clicks or just work by feel. Lightweight enough to easily move, but sturdy enough to remain upright and not slide or tip. The screen to follow your metrics is a great bonus! LifePro has amazing customer service- I own 4 of their products (I'm an LMT and CPT), my brother (a DC) owns 2, and even my Mom has one. You can't go wrong with their craftsmanship, lifetime warranty, and excellent service! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! ... show more
