I recently purchased the UMay Fitness treadmill for my office, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. This treadmill has exceeded my expectations in every way. First off, the size is perfect—it's compact enough to fit in my office without taking up too much space, yet it's sturdy and reliable. Assembly was a breeze; I had it up and running in just about 10 minutes with minimal guidance needed. In terms of performance, the treadmill is fantastic. It can go up to 8.7 miles per hour without any issues, which is great for a quick workout between meetings. I spend about 30 minutes a day on it, and it runs smoothly and quietly, which is perfect for an office setting. Another great feature is its affordability. Nice, well built unit; it's been in use here 2-3 hrs a week for almost a year now (I'm the heavier, at 185 lbs, and it supports my weight fine). Still looks and runs like new; and we’re really liking it. Note: I think for most good quality treadmills it's normal for the treadmill belt to move to the right or left over time to be a little close to either side wall of the unit (and possibly squeak or make a scrape noise to let one know when it does). When this happens it needs to be adjusted back into its center position (for our unit this was once every 2-3 mos). It was easy to assemble the unit itself; to adjust the belt (left or right): The instructions are just 'OK' (printed in pamphlet and on the unit itself) which makes it a little tricky to get it right the first time - until you get used to the process (knowing which way to turn (and which) of the two adjusting screws to move the belt left or right with the supplied Allen wrench) - so after you adjust it and before putting your wrench away just run it without anyone on it a minute or two to see if the belt drifts - if so tweak the adjustment slightly as required till it stays in place without drifting. Patience is a virtue ;) Have fun! We do.

The media could not be loaded. What we like is that the price was reasonable, easy to assemble, and the shipping was very fast. The size is okay, for reference my fiancé is 6’3 and the handles fall a little short but for someone like me, 5’7, it’s not that bad at all. The speed goes up to 8.7 mph and the sound isn’t too bad. It’s great for a small space since the belt isn’t too wide. Works well so far and it was easy to adjust the belt after it was put together. It’s only screwing some screws and it’s ready to use. The weight is manageable to lift and/or move around. I like the hydraulic feature to bring the machine down. Worth the price

When I discovered our treadmill (over 21 years old) had retired itself, I was forced to look for another one. I didn't need one as big as our previous ProForm but had no idea what to consider after seeing endless smaller treadmills. I wanted one with 'arms' to hold onto, which eliminated quite a few. I then considered some remaining ones based on a variety of factors and eventually focused on the UMay U50. I decided to go with it for several reasons. For one, the reviews were positive and/or glowing. Also, it looked sturdier than others in the pictures, and with a higher weight limit of 300 lbs., I figured it actually was sturdier. Finally, I read in several places that the customer service was stellar; that was a huge plus for me, as I've learned on numerous occasions how important it is to have a responsive customer service. The treadmill arrived a day early; my husband assembled it before I got home, so it was a nice surprise! The ONLY issue was that it wasn't clear whether or not oil (included) needed to be added before the first use. The manual implied that it did need to be oiled prior to the first use, but the label by the oil 'hole' implied that it was ready to go. I wrote customer service and was pleased to have a reply within an hour (the oil was NOT needed prior to using). I've now used this treadmill for over 2 weeks and am still thrilled with it. It's extremely quiet, which is a wonderful switch from our last one! I don't have to turn the TV volume up at all while using it. There are some nice safety features as well, including a slowdown of the treadmill when it's stopped/paused. I read from one reviewer that the only drawback was the smallish, very shallow cup holders (there are two). It's not an issue for me, but I can see that deeper ones might be beneficial. All in all, I have been extremely pleased with this treadmill!

Product is as described- economical, compact, sturdy, easy to assemble and great for in-home cardio when you can't get outside or to your gym. The vendor communicates realistic shipping time frames, and Amazon delivery delivered earlier than expected. I used to own a $3k treadmill and never felt the equipment was worth the investment. The U50-BK treadmill is a great alternative for those seeking an efficient way to be active and well worth the investment.
