I wanted a treadmill that was reliable, compact, functional, and nothing too fancy. This treadmill is all of that. It was very easy to assemble. Took about 20 minutes tops. It’s space-saving as it folds up and down, and it’s not too heavy. I love that there is a ledge on the control panel beneath the buttons where I can set my iPad or phone on. As others mentioned, the cup holders are very shallow, but no big deal for me. As you can see in my photo, it can really only fit a 16.9 fl oz bottle. I find this treadmill comfortable to run on. I’m 128 lbs, and it’s actually not that loud when I jog on it in my opinion, but it’s also not the quietest. I don’t think it can be heard from another room though. Honestly, you’re going to hear some noise regardless of what treadmill you get. The belt is slightly narrower than a typical treadmill you’d see at a public gym, but it isn’t a problem unless you’re someone who happens to have really wide strides. I haven’t had issues with the belt going off center or anything, but it looks easy to re-adjust if need be. The incline has three levels and is easily adjusted by the pins. All in all, just keep in mind, you can’t expect perfection for a $300-ish treadmill. I’m very happy with my purchase. I was not paid for this product or review. This is my simple, honest opinion. The Umay treadmill has all the features we were looking for. It is compact, solid, smooth, folds easily, has basic display features (speed, distance traveled, time, heart rate, etc.), supports up to 300lbs and is quiet . It can also be adjusted to 3 incline levels and has a safety key. We spend a lot of time in our pole barn and this fits perfectly in front of the window. WHAT IS IT? It’s a treadmill. Sold by a foreign company. IS IT QUALITY? It’s fine for a few hundred dollars. You aren’t getting a crazy nice treadmill in this price range. HOW BIG IS IT? It’s not big. Smaller than most treadmills you probably have seen. A normal sized human can comfortably walk, maybe even run, on it. IS IT EASY TO SET UP? Yes - if you are handy and have common sense. Forget the manual. Just put the screws where they go. You use 6 short screws and 2 long screws. Some holes might not line up perfectly. Just use some force. Remember, you bought a cheap treadmill. ADJUSTING THE BELT? You have to adjust the belt. It might arrive misaligned. You’ll know because the belt pulls to one side or the other and screeches. Forget the instructions. Just adjust each bolt on either side of the treadmill until the roller is in an even, straight line. Then muscle the belt back to the middle - it’s a little easier to do this with your feet while it’s running. DOES IS LAST? Our first one lasted about a week. CUSTOMER SERVICE? The number I found online led me to a customer service center where they claimed they couldn’t help. I needed to call a different number. I called a number on the faceplate of the treadmill and left a message. A very kind woman answered, helped me troubleshoot (which was unsuccessful), and sent us a new treadmill. Easy. Just required some patience. WHATS WRONG WITH IT? It’s small. It’s cheap. The manual isn’t great. Some of the screw hardware is not aligned properly. Customer service was confusing. WHY 5 STARS? I knew I was buying a cheap treadmill. I had to get over just about every hurdle I expected to face from a cheap treadmill. But they were EASY hurdles to get past. At the end of the day, it works. It’s small, but mighty. And it’s exactly what I paid for. My expectations were met - good and bad. ... show more

I had been wanting a treadmill that was a not bulky or heavy, and had a foldable option. This treadmill provides that flexibility and convenience along with not taking up too much space in a room. It is long enough to take longer steps or shorter steps. There are many walking options including different variation of speed. The treadmill is durable and guides with ease. It was easy to install and comes with everything needed to assemble. There is an area of a cup holder though it is not to deep, so I would not recommend a larger container, but the size is sufficient and convenient. The add for this item is transparent, such as it looks like what is advertised and the description of features in the add is transparent as well. The cost was very affordable and we believe it is a Good buy. Walking on the treadmill is smooth and great for walking at lower or higher speeds.
