Great product, very sturdy! Help more than 3 yards of soil. Takes some time to build but it is worth it. In my opinion, using tools wouldn’t help make it go faster, but definitely wear gloves. The metal edges can be sharp. We have 2 and love them!

These seem super sturdy and weren’t too difficult to put together. I have two small complaints. The first was that one of the garden assemblies was delivered and the bag with the nuts and bolts inside was cut open so there were loose pieces everywhere and some missing. Since we ordered multiple gardens and most have extras, we ended up being okay in parts. Second, many of the nuts wouldn’t screw onto the bolts. Thankfully my husband has a tap and die set so we were able to fix them. If he didn’t we wouldn’t have been able to assemble a full garden. Other than that, I love the way they look and we are super excited to use them come spring!!

The instructions were less than sufficient, but common sense prevailed, and I figured it out. You seriously need 4 hands or a second person to build this. And if you have any hand issues, like arthritis or carpel tunnel, then it's your best decision to hire it done. I did it by myself, with a little help from my husband, but I have arthritis in my hands and it was HARD. There are literally 80 bolts and nuts to do the job, and it was tedious and painful. But anything worth doing will come with challenges, right? You'll need a drill and a solid hour. It feels sturdy, looks good, and I think it will be just fine when the soil is added, and it was easy to transport. I built in my garage and then took it down to it's permanent home in the sun at the back of my property on my Kawasaki Mule, and I was able to lift it on and off the mule and place it and move it around to its permanent position without challenge. It's large and awkward, but I suppose that's to be expected for it's intended use.

It's amazing what an extra foot of height makes! This item is replacing a one-foot-high wooden bed that has rotted, and the size difference is noteworthy! I went with the taller bed for ease of future gardening and maintenance, but it's still surprisingly large (a happy surprise!) My saint of a sister assembled this for me (me recently out of hospital) by hand (no gloves, no tools save for what was in the kit, bless her!) She did so without incident (save for a minor blood sacrifice which often bodes well for successful completion of projects lol). (NB: please do wear gloves during assembly due to sharp edges). I am going to go back over the 80 (!) nuts which she initially has hand tightened with a power socket /drill to tighten them up before commencing the bed project. She built in in the garage on a sunny day; it did take two of us to lift the completed project out to the yard (tipped sideways through the door). She did remark that she feared that she had built a 'boat in a basement' (built a project too big to leave through available egress points) but it will go through a standard door (in addition to a garage door) with no issues). The bed is reinforced with center wires with small turnbuckles - I appreciate that as some other beds that I've used can become 'floppy' in the center. We will be using the base from the original raised bed that it is replacing, along with large branches (that are not diseased) that are too big for the city landscape recycling program or our small mulcher/chipper. That will save on some of the yards of soil required to fill this bed. A quality product from a quality brand, with easy assembly. Will buy again!

Ended up buying this brand because the ones I bought from another company were sold out. These were thinner metal, came with 3 of 4 corners mangled because the box was dropped/damaged during shipping. Spent an hour with pliers straightening the corners back into shape. Some of the bolts and nuts would not go together due to poor machined material, so we had to force them together. These were difficult to put together alone, the instructions consist of a picture, not very helpful instructions at all. And with the metal being flimsy, thankfully I had help step in to make the task managable puttingthe middles together. Once put together, we found out that the 2ftx4ftx8ft garden bed WAS NOT 8ft long. Setting next to my other brand raised metal bed that is 2ftx4ftx8ft, These are about 2-3 inches shorter in length. 3 stars because they are metal and will last a little while, but definitely not something I would buy again. I'll hold out for the other company to have theirs in stock.

Material is very flimsy and bends easily. Not too bad to put together with a power screwdriver and a crescent wrench, it just takes a while. Have two people for assembly. I was missing two nuts so I had to go buy those. FYI, they're M6x1. People complain about the instructions but they are clear as day. They tell you where every part is supposed to go. People complaing must be the kind of people to never pick up a tool and love to be spoon fed. Takes a LOT of dirt. I think we put 48 bags of garden soil in plus grass clippings and wood to take up space, but I knew it was large when I bought it. I sunk mine into the ground by 3" to give it some more rigidity. All in all, it's an even 3 stars. Not great, not horrible. I'd buy it again.
