It is not my first treadmill. It was easy to put together, almost completely assembled. It works well and it is perfect in my condo. It's the ideal size for our living room and doesn't take up too much space. Many folding treadmills don’t exactly fold in half, but with this I save so much space. It's simple to put away because it's easily folded up and stored wherever. I believe it's a great budget-friendly options on the market. Noise was a factor in product selection important for me, especially because I live in a condo, but the cushioning help with the absorption of each step I take or I run. I wanted a treadmill that was reliable, compact, functional, and nothing too fancy. This treadmill is all of that. It was very easy to assemble. Took about 20 minutes tops. It’s space-saving as it folds up and down, and it’s not too heavy. I love that there is a ledge on the control panel beneath the buttons where I can set my iPad or phone on. As others mentioned, the cup holders are very shallow, but no big deal for me. As you can see in my photo, it can really only fit a 16.9 fl oz bottle. I find this treadmill comfortable to run on. I’m 128 lbs, and it’s actually not that loud when I jog on it in my opinion, but it’s also not the quietest. I don’t think it can be heard from another room though. Honestly, you’re going to hear some noise regardless of what treadmill you get. The belt is slightly narrower than a typical treadmill you’d see at a public gym, but it isn’t a problem unless you’re someone who happens to have really wide strides. I haven’t had issues with the belt going off center or anything, but it looks easy to re-adjust if need be. The incline has three levels and is easily adjusted by the pins. All in all, just keep in mind, you can’t expect perfection for a $300-ish treadmill. I’m very happy with my purchase. I was not paid for this product or review. This is my simple, honest opinion. WHAT IS IT? It’s a treadmill. Sold by a foreign company. IS IT QUALITY? It’s fine for a few hundred dollars. You aren’t getting a crazy nice treadmill in this price range. HOW BIG IS IT? It’s not big. Smaller than most treadmills you probably have seen. A normal sized human can comfortably walk, maybe even run, on it. IS IT EASY TO SET UP? Yes - if you are handy and have common sense. Forget the manual. Just put the screws where they go. You use 6 short screws and 2 long screws. Some holes might not line up perfectly. Just use some force. Remember, you bought a cheap treadmill. ADJUSTING THE BELT? You have to adjust the belt. It might arrive misaligned. You’ll know because the belt pulls to one side or the other and screeches. Forget the instructions. Just adjust each bolt on either side of the treadmill until the roller is in an even, straight line. Then muscle the belt back to the middle - it’s a little easier to do this with your feet while it’s running. DOES IS LAST? Our first one lasted about a week. CUSTOMER SERVICE? The number I found online led me to a customer service center where they claimed they couldn’t help. I needed to call a different number. I called a number on the faceplate of the treadmill and left a message. A very kind woman answered, helped me troubleshoot (which was unsuccessful), and sent us a new treadmill. Easy. Just required some patience. WHATS WRONG WITH IT? It’s small. It’s cheap. The manual isn’t great. Some of the screw hardware is not aligned properly. Customer service was confusing. WHY 5 STARS? I knew I was buying a cheap treadmill. I had to get over just about every hurdle I expected to face from a cheap treadmill. But they were EASY hurdles to get past. At the end of the day, it works. It’s small, but mighty. And it’s exactly what I paid for. My expectations were met - good and bad. ... show more

The Umay treadmill has all the features we were looking for. It is compact, solid, smooth, folds easily, has basic display features (speed, distance traveled, time, heart rate, etc.), supports up to 300lbs and is quiet . It can also be adjusted to 3 incline levels and has a safety key. We spend a lot of time in our pole barn and this fits perfectly in front of the window. I've had a larger treadmill for 10 years, I busted the deck. I'm going to move soon & dont want large things to move so I bought this & just did my 1st workout. 4mph 27 minutes. It was super easy to put together. It's very sturdy. It's worth every dime! Will be easy to move. I just wish the belt was wider, the measurements on this page are accurate. I've had spinal surgery, I'm 57 & cant jog very well. Missing the belt while jogging is very dangerous. If it were wider it would be perfect. That being said once I move I will be buying a larger treadmill where I can veer left veer right, slide backwards and forwards without being in danger, as well as feeling a little more secure with a larger frame and heavier durability. But there is nothing wrong with the sturdiness of this little treadmill it's well worth the money and was delivered in days, absolutely perfect for small areas, thank you very much! ... show more
