You are able to hit speeds upto 9 mph. You can also run. Was easy to assemble. Infact this came 80% assembled. You only had to put the nuts and bolts and take off the packing. I purchased this treadmill because of its compact design, and it has truly delivered on that front. It’s perfect for small spaces. The foldable feature and lightweight frame make it easy to store and move around if I desire. Performance-wise, it runs smoothly, and the settings are simple to adjust. It’s a great option for walking or jogging, and it feels sturdy despite its size. The controls are intuitive, and the screen provides the basic data I need for my workouts (distance, speed, calories, etc.). The one downside for me is the lack of connectivity with running apps. I was hoping to sync my data with apps like Strava or Nike Run Club, but unfortunately, this treadmill doesn’t support that functionality. It’s a missed opportunity, especially for people who like to track their progress digitally or participate in virtual challenges. Overall, it’s a solid treadmill for the price, especially if you’re tight on space. If app connectivity isn’t a priority for you, this would be an excellent choice!

For the price, it works pretty well. Assembling it took around 30 minutes, the instructions could be better. The size is very compact so I can easily store it in my room. The speed is alright, you're not gonna be doing an Olympic marathon on this but it's enough to get a workout in.

I love how strong the motor that’s in this treadmill. I sometimes walk on it with my weight vest with no change in power from it. I can maneuver in tight spaces. We have limited room in our workout room/storage room. The incline was very easy to set. The treadmill didn’t take no time to set up. I really can believe how above average quality you have for such a low price!!!!

When I discovered our treadmill (over 21 years old) had retired itself, I was forced to look for another one. I didn't need one as big as our previous ProForm but had no idea what to consider after seeing endless smaller treadmills. I wanted one with 'arms' to hold onto, which eliminated quite a few. I then considered some remaining ones based on a variety of factors and eventually focused on the UMay U50. I decided to go with it for several reasons. For one, the reviews were positive and/or glowing. Also, it looked sturdier than others in the pictures, and with a higher weight limit of 300 lbs., I figured it actually was sturdier. Finally, I read in several places that the customer service was stellar; that was a huge plus for me, as I've learned on numerous occasions how important it is to have a responsive customer service. The treadmill arrived a day early; my husband assembled it before I got home, so it was a nice surprise! The ONLY issue was that it wasn't clear whether or not oil (included) needed to be added before the first use. The manual implied that it did need to be oiled prior to the first use, but the label by the oil 'hole' implied that it was ready to go. I wrote customer service and was pleased to have a reply within an hour (the oil was NOT needed prior to using). I've now used this treadmill for over 2 weeks and am still thrilled with it. It's extremely quiet, which is a wonderful switch from our last one! I don't have to turn the TV volume up at all while using it. There are some nice safety features as well, including a slowdown of the treadmill when it's stopped/paused. I read from one reviewer that the only drawback was the smallish, very shallow cup holders (there are two). It's not an issue for me, but I can see that deeper ones might be beneficial. All in all, I have been extremely pleased with this treadmill!
