This product is perfect. I replaced my old UV light and cannister because it was leaking. I know how to install being a professional and NOT a DIY. No instructions, but if you knkow what you are doing you can figure it out. I give it ******* Stainless Steel and comes with the proper fitting for a new or existing installation. ... show more

    • Safety hazard
The problem is that the description says that the UV light turns on when water is flowing only . Turns out it doesn’t. I had to install an expensive flow switch that turns the uv light on only when water is flowing otherwise the uv light stays on when no water is flowing the water starts to boil within 20 min and that’s a fire hazard. Don’t bother to buy this item. ... show more

    • VERY HAPPY, Clean Water, great quality, no plastic parts
I had bought another UV light for about the same price and it was a plastic housing and made my water taste like plastic. THIS one is excellent. Easy to install, stainless steel and Quartz (feels like glass to me, not sure the difference) so no chemical run off. I Cleaned everything with soap and water prior to install and then ran about 1/2 my tank to clean out and debris on the filter. Water is great, no fear of bacteria/virus from our well water. Now time for a whole house!!!! ... show more

    • The point of the quartz edge contact with stainless housing cap need a proper rubber packing.
I like this product pricing and dislike product design default, I use this for family drinking water sterilizing.

    • Leaks because China makes junk
The threads on the stainless steel tube are too big for the adapters, so even with lots of teflon tape, they slowly leak. Come on, Really? Can't get threads right?
