To communicate clearly: The term "hose thread size" specifies the size of the hose connector. The term "hose size" specifies the inside diameter of the hose itself. This product is listed by the seller as a ⅝ inch hose, but the hose's outside diameter is ⅝ inch (see photo), therefore the inside diameter must be less than ⅝ inch. The inside diameter is likely less than ½ inch. The thread size of this hose is ¾ inch, the most common size for US residences. My assessment is that the seller has incorrectly stated the hose diameter (using the outside diameter instead of the standard practice of specifying the inside diameter of the hose. This is misleading and should be corrected. Regardless of the above issue I found that this 50 foot long hose with a less than ⅝ inch inside diameter performed well enough for me for general watering and washing purposes, but it may not satisfy a user who expects a very strong flow from the hose. Other notes from trying out this hose: I found the strain relief collars on the hose - which screw onto the rear of the hose connector - very helpful, especially in tightening the hose onto a faucet or nozzle. The hose's braided outer jacket feels tough, but I would be careful around sharp thorns or other objects that may be able to pierce though the fabric to the inner latex tube and cause a leak. The hose is very light and easy to carry. Coiling the hose requires me to change my technique a bit, but the compact nature of this small diameter hose helps a lot. I've had some bad experiences with using aluminum connectors on my home's galvanized steel faucets, finding them corroded in place after leaving them connected from early spring to late fall. I will not leave this hose's aluminum connectors attached to the faucet and nozzle for long periods. Based on the acceptable water flow, light weight and outstanding value for money, I've rated this hose four stars. After a season of use I'll revisit this review and update it if needed.

I have gone through quite a few hoses lately in search of a lightweight but sturdy hose that does not kink. I might have just found the right one, and for a change, the price was great. My last hose was an expandable rubber hose with an even narrower diameter, and while it works well, it is like dragging Velcro over the lawn, and it tangles up everywhere. With this Craft911 hose, I do not run into this issue. It can easily be dragged over grass, concrete, and around corners without dragging or getting stuck. It is less flexible and stiffer, which makes hanging it up on the hose wheel slightly more difficult, but I think rolling it up would be easy. I was surprised that water comes through this hose instantly, compared to expandable hoses that always have a delay. The fittings are of good quality, and I was able to install them leak-free on the first attempt. Where it also shines is the price. At less than $20 it is the cheapest 50ft hose that I have bought in a while, and it clearly outperforms my other lightweight hoses.

This is a very solid hose. The connectors are solid and heavy, the hose is easy to coil and rolls out nicely. But, the 5/8th size listed is not the actual hose size, the connectors yes, hose no. You will have less water flow and pressure due to the narrow hose. It is a good hose that should last quite a while and for the price it is a yes. If you need more water pressure and volume though, this would probably not work well for you.

Good basic hose for watering a garden. The diameter is a bit narrow on the inside, but it still works well for what I need it for. I like that it is ft so I can get around my garden relatively easy. So far I have had no issues with it, but I'll know with continued use and update my review at the end of Summer. I'll be using it quite regularly for my garden, which is HUGE.

Decent economy hose. Lightweight, seemingly durable exterior cover, decent fittings, hasn't kinked in my first two days of use. I guess this matches most of the claims, but I wouldn't classify it as "Heavy Duty," as the title states. This is probably better that the similarly priced basic 50 foot green garden hose you'll find at the corner market, but I don't know how long it will last. Four stars, for being good enough, and a good buy at <$20.

Wow it is really lightweight!! I am replacing a 50 ft hose that is so kinked and twisted water no longer comes out. I am very hopeful that this hose is going to be a great replacement. It is SUPER lightweight and does seem to resist kinking . The material is very interesting and seems heavy duty I hope it lasts many seasons because I am loving not lugging a heavy rubber hose all over the yard. The fittings on both ends are brass and high quality. The picture thumbnails has one or two pics that don't have brass end on both sides but it does and they spin easily to get attached to the spigot. The hose is crushproof. It seems a bit thinner than my old hose but that might just be due to the thickness of the rubber vs whatever magic this is made from. The water output seems comparable. The price is awesome and I would buy this again for sure!

This is a good hose because it is exactly as they say -- it's very flexible, very lightweight, and does seem to be kink resistant. My only thing is that I thought garden hoses were all the same diameter, but this is more narrow than the ones I have bought locally. But for me it's not a big issue, my small pressure washer seems to be ok connected up to this, so I'm satisfied. But if you need more flow, a wider diameter would be necessary. Overall recommended, especially as a hose for watering your plants and uses like that.

Great buy for the price. Doesn't seem as big as a typical hose in dimension, but functions well. It is also not super heavy to lug around like a regular hose, which is really nice for watering my flowers!
