This is our second great cover protector. Our last hot tub cover was a hard cover, one that a 250 lb man could walk on and was "flat" not a tapered top. It finally started collecting water and actually the seam was breaking down (dissolving) when we bought our first cover protector. This extended the life of our hard cover for almost 4 years. We live in the PNW 60 miles north of Seattle, so big winds, lots and lots of rain, snow and a great deal of sun exposure, before we bought our second one. Fits my 2025 Hot Springs Rhythm (84x84) perfectly. I can keep it on and it folds with the Cover Cradle ii lifter, but it can be a little awkward and I have to fix the front corners when I’m closing the lid. I can’t speak to its longevity, as I have only had it a few weeks but even if it needs replacing, it’s a small price to pay to give extra protection to my hot tub cover. I live in the PNW and we get lists of rain and I can tell how it protects my cover from water pooling on it. ... show more

Seems pretty decent from first impression. The buckles and shock cord hold it tight to the hot tub. We are protected from wind so I don’t know how well it holds in high winds. I got a 90x90 for my 88x88 tub which has a lifter so overall dimensions are 88x94. It’s a good fit. The next size up would be too big. ... show more

Fairly durable. Mine just ripped after exactly 4 years. The black color washes out to a pale gray color in about a year even in the shade. I ordered a brown one this time to see if the color holds up any better.

I don’t write a lot of reviews, but felt lead to advise Here due to the amount of research I performed. This cover was beyond the quality we anticipated for our 7’ x 7’ Hotsprings spa. This is a fabric material, not nylon with heavy duty cinch straps at every corner and a mid span adjustable cord.
