We bought this for travel and mostly, tailgating. I keep the temp down around 30 degrees with it full and it keeps beer and drinks nice and cold! I can fit around 10 or 12 slim beer cans and another 10 or 12 coke cans, along with burgers, dogs, condiments and everything we need for a good time tailgating. We have a 2 1/2 hour drive to the stadium so this plugs in and runs great in our Tundra's inverter. I can't really attest to the longevity, but it seems to be holding up great through one season! Highly recommend :)

I use this in my semi truck while on the road and it has worked great - with the exception of AC. Whenever the truck is off I frequently got an E1 error code, which seems to be insufficient voltage. I'm not deducting any stars for that because it actually makes sense if the truck is off and not supplying the correct amount of voltage through the cigarette lighter port. It was an easy fix I simply used the DC plug straight into the inverter and it has been working perfectly. The app is also a very nice touch - I can set the cooler temp on the fly and turn the unit on and off without even touching it.

UPDATE 7/25/2024: The fridge is still working well, I haven't been running it 24/7. it doesn't like being plugged into my 12v receptacle in the back of the jeep, I believe this is normal for these, they can't pull enough power off the small wire size used for the socket when the compressor initially turns on. The plastic on the inside is separating from the cooling element, it has a slight ripple and I hear a crunchy noise when I run my had across it. I won't update again unless it fails, so far I believe I've got my money worth from it. UPDATE 11/5/2023: I've used this for a while now, and it's still doing well, I found that simply adding some insulation with reflective material over the lid made a difference in performance, at some point I'll figure out a better solution, but it's working for now, the compressor still kicks on too often, I need to get a wifi temp sensor so I can track the internal temp and see if there's a difference between what's shown and what the temp actually is, maybe that will shed some light on the compressor kicking on. I've used this off and on, this is my first summer running it, so we'll see how it does being on 24x7 in temps above 80 outside the vehicle. it would be nice if there was a travel bag for this, but I suppose I can build my own, to improve insulation. The google play store app in the US for this, is called "ETRUNK", it doesn't do much, but it's a little bit easier to change setting in the app than on the unit itself. the signal is pretty decent, I can still get a connection from inside my house, it was nice for testing. After using it over the 4th, I have decided that I will probably just buy a brand that uses a danfos/secop compressor, and specifically look for ones with good insulation. On my unit the compressor comes on more that I think it should, which could be a couple factors, not the least of which would be poor insulation, I'm uncertain where the temp probe is at in this unit, but it seems to maintain an accurate temperature. The real problem, I suspect due to the insulation, is that the compressor draws too much power when it kicks on. Even when the fridge shows that it's at the correct temp, the compressor kicks on and the voltage displayed on the screen of the fridge dips to 10.6-10.8 volts, this is with solar attached putting out 14+ volts and a fully charged battery. I didn't put a meter on it, but my solar controller didn't register the displayed dip in voltage, it may just be poorly designed circuitry. If I can find a way to properly/effectively add insulation, that should help, but the real solution is a better compressor that will draw less amps when the fridge is already at temperature.

Make sure to clean this often using bleach wipes. Make sure to clean the plug and hole where moisture accumulates. If this is well maintained, it will be a great little refrigerator in house and on the road in your car. If you don't have extra 12V, get a power station. By getting a power station, you don't have to worry about your car battery dying. Use case, going to grocery stores and you hit traffic on your way home. Keeping stuff cold during transit is a must for food safety.

I definitely recommend it, after seeing too many electric coolers (some very expensive) I decided to go for this cheap one compared to the others. I have used it for 1 month and I am fascinated! I no longer have to carry a large camping cooler filled with 3 ice packs to last me the weekend, this saves me space and weight, I like that I can keep it in my car with the car cord and in my camper popup is charged by the solar panel I have. It really cools! I minimized how much it was going to be able to cool and on the first use I frozen everything I put there 😅 lesson learned… it really cools what it says. A tip… the shores will always be colder than the center.
