I’ve been trying different bourbon or Bordeaux cherries for Manhattans for some time, and recently bought these. The juice has an odd taste, and the cherry was truly awful (taste and consistency) and gave me stomach pain shortly after I ate one. We threw the rest out. Listen to the bad reviews, and do not buy these.

I ordered these twice, hoping the first time was a mistake. Both times the jar was leaking with the sticky syrup. In addition, they are bland tasting. Spend extra for the Woodford Reserve Cherries in Bourbon.

Something about the flavor of this brand is slightly off, it may be the elderberry or the. Faccctcthay Bourbon is the last ingredient (meaning lowest concentration) but I'm just not a huge fan of these. I'll stick with the Collins or Woodford Reseeve Brands. I even transferred the cherries to the liquid from an old jar of Woodford to improve the taste.
