I was leary about buying this after reading a bunch of reviews about it but it's really cold and it was originally bought for my dog in mind. She's a Papillon and gets cold easy. The first time I used it "I" used it because after reading the reviews I wanted to know if it worked. It's been below zero here lately so great time to try it... I put the blanket over my legs and plugged it in, immediately it helped the cold, its a nice blanket, it did warm up a bit but not what I expected it to. It's certainly not nearly as warm as my one in the house but it does get quite comfortable. It takes a bit to warm up but being so cold that's understandable I guess. It certainly does help knock the edge off the cold though without even being plugged in. I don't shiver and shake anymore. The fleece blanket is a really nice blanket with or without heat. It does warm up rather well, I don't think it needs to be much warmer... me... I'd prefer it as warm as I could because I'm a real cold person anyhow, we're talking fleece lined leggings under pants, extra sox, shirt, sweatshirt, coat, hat, mittens. But with just sweatpants on it kept me nice and toasty. I had it on today and over me, my dog was shaking cold so she came and sat on the blanket. Her shivers quit and she didn't wanna get off the blanket. It will be just fine for us and I'm very happy with the purchase. We will not go cold anymore!

Bought for a trip during the early winter of Nov. '23. It helped keep my back, hips, and legs warm on the trip. Especially on the way back home it rained and was still cold all the way back home with bumper to bumper traffic which should have been 5 1/2 hr. trip turned into almost 9 hrs.. You have no switch to regulate the output. It takes about 15-20 mins. for it to start heating good. When it would get too warm, I would unplug it from my cigarette lighter. Love the color, and the material feels good and holds the shape, nothing flimsy. Update: I found if your car has warmed up first, the blanket don't take so long to heat.

This isn't something to write home about, it is nice and works. Cons: It is thin (but is warm as a blanket) Can feel the wires in the blanket (doesn't really bother me) Doesn't heat up super fast. Doesn't get crazy warm. You NEED to unplug it when you leave the car 🙄 I have a major squirrel brain at times. Pros: Soft and can be used as a regular blanket Easy to spot clean Size is very decent, it is not very small. Think throw blanket size. Gets the job done. If you want something that is going to work fast and get HEAT then you will probably have to spend the money to get something nicer. But for how much it costed and just needing a little extra wormth in the cold weather this is not a bad product. It could also be my car outlet/lighter that doesn't have the greatest strength and I have yet to try it in another vehicle.

I will say this won't get you hot and toasty, but this truly saved my hands from frostbite. Temps were set to be well below zero recently and I had to drive to work non stop so ordered due to good reviews and would receive fast. My drive is 30 minutes and if it wasn't for this blanket to keep one of my hands warm while the other steered I truly would have had some serious issues. My gloves were no match for a 30 minute drive in these temps. Might not need on a regular basis, but dear lord, thank you for offering this product.

I bought this for a friend who does not have a warmer in her car to keep the seats warm in the winter, and she said, this works wonderful laying over her and makes her. It feels so much better when she's out in the car. I also got myself one and I like to be able to lay it on my lap as I drive. I don't have to have the heater turned on as high, and this keeps me warm. If I want to stop somewhere and read a book for a little while, this is perfect for it

Ok, I see alot of negative reviews for the 12volt blanket. A lot saying it dosent get hot, or it's not that warm. First off , this is a 12volt blanket, made of polyester. These 12 volt blanket aren't made to heat up like a house electric blanket. There 12 volt. They do what 12 volts can do..These blankets aren't going to defrost meat lol. You use this blanket to maintain your body heat, so hyperthermia dosent set in. They'll keep you alive if stranded in your car in severe cold weather. Their not powerfull enough for you to enjoy a tropical paradise of comfort. Use common sense. Use the blanket before youre stone cold. This is a 12volt blanket. Expectations of a home electric blanket is ridiculous. Once you understand that ,you'll realize this is a excellent 12volt blanket for the price.
