I bought this because the triangle shaped one I bought a couple years ago broke while doing spring cleaning of my pool. The triangle one lasted a very short time. Works very well, easy to use. However, a standard pole is slightly too big. I had to wrap it with duct tape so it would have a snug fit. Other than that, it does the job.

The vacuum head works as intended. It does prove a bit difficult to maneuver in the corners and on the curved sides of my pool. However, it may just take a bit more time to get the hang of it. Overall very satisfied.

    • REASONABLE PRICE FOR THIS VACUUM

I have been maintaining my 27 inch round above ground pool since 1996. The last time I changed my liner was after Hurricane Katrina in 2006 when I had to replace the pool because trees uprooted and smashed into the pool. So my liner is going on 18 years old with only 2 parched holes on the bottom. I end up having to replace any of my accessories that have nylon bristles because they break loose and end up floating in the pool. The vacuums all have nylon bristles with no replacement brushes that I can find. I have bought the most expensive triangular models and usually replace them after a year of use. So this was a smart decision, much better price, and time will tell, if I stick with this one or end up back with the triangular model with no side brushes, which was the worst model I ever bought. I recommend this model because of the more reasonable price. After using this pool vacuum, it has the best pickup suction of any I purchased since 1996. ... show more

Purchased for our above ground pool.It is a well built product and does its job.I would give it 5 stars if it was alitttle wider in depth. On a long handle reaching out towards middle of pool you have tomake sure to keep it down flat or it will try to turn up on you.
