I've been supplementing with turmeric for a while and I have seen positive results in my lab tests--plus I just feel better. These capsules have almost the same combination as my usual turmeric supplements, but the provided amount is much lower. Three capsules makes a serving, and provides 810mg of turmeric combined between the root and root extract. This is significantly lower than what I have been taking, in a smaller number of capsules no less. I do like that these stipulate the extract is 95% curcuminoids, which is industry standard for quality turmeric. I suppose the price reflects the 'organic' nature of the turmeric--that is the only thing I can think of as to why these cost more when they deliver less in terms of dosage amount. I trust these are a quality supplement, but there are better options out there for me. ... show more

    • A good anti-inflammatory combo which takes into account what some studies have shown
This seems like a pretty solid anti-inflammatory super-blend of herbs. And of course there are other purported benefits to the various ingredients. I like the addition of Bromelain, and especially that the Black Pepper extract is included (due to the studies showing that it enhances absorption of turmeric compounds). The question of quercetin vs curcumin I don't know enough about to comment on, but they're both reportedly effective at reducing inflammation, at the least. And that's pretty much what you get -- nice generous-sized capsules full of the advertised powdered herbs. As it says on the bottle: "NO Color Additives, Binders, or Preservatives" I'm pleased with this supplement. ... show more

Very nice product, have been taking Turmeric for years and this is one of my favorites. Good clean ingredients and easy to swallow. I have many bad joints and take this for my bad knee's. Black pepper makes adsorption into the blood stream much better and I take 2 of these per day. Good product and price. ... show more

This is an interesting array of supplements. I do like taking turmeric and now I get to take these other ones as well in the same pill. I know all of them have wonderful benefits. The pill is a medium size and I can swallow it very easily. It has just a very slight sweet smell to it.

It's difficult for me to say the the actual efficacy of herbal supplements, but I can say that this is a sealed bottle directly shipped from the manufacturer's BioSchwartz Amazon store. I'm familiar with this brand and have used this product and, although I can't scientifically prove to what extent the supplements help to relieve symptoms, they didn't cause any harmful effects. Good mix of ingredients. No issues with these - slight smell and taste from the turmeric but nothing that I thought was an issue. No after issues with tastes or stomach.
