I bought it to capture lightning photos and needed something to allow me to shoot longer than my cameras max shutter of 30 seconds. Plugged this in and put my camera on bulb mode - thunderstorm came and I was off to work. Not something I use often, but will always be a part of my kit. Battery life TBD

I use this remote with my Canon R6 all the time in my studio. Shortly after I purchased this, it stopped working. I replaced the coin battery and still works great to this day. So, the original coin battery was not good. Otherwise, its a great remote!

I love these I wouldn’t spend the money on a native branded shutter release this is more capable and half the price. The only thing is the cords for canon can be temperamental so I would buy extras.

The title of the product states that this wireless remote is compatible with the Canon R10 but when I connected it to my camera it didn’t function; highly don’t recommend this remote since it was miss leading on which cameras it can function with. Definitely regret not returning this item before the return date expired.

I film myself for youtube vids, and got this so I didn't have to get up, and walk over to my camera (Canon EOS M50 Mark II) every time I need record a segment. I got this one specifically because it had a zoom function with the shutter release function. However, I didn't know until I had the product in my hand and was reading the pairing instructions, that the zoom function ONLY works if you buy a power adapter for your lens. An adapter that runs $180! I checked back over the listing, and they do mention this but in reeeeeaaaaally tiny print that I didn't even notice until I went looking for it on the listing. So this is a heads up for y'all that want to buy this for the zoom function, it won't work without the expensive adapter. Shutter function works great though. But there are cheaper remotes out there that only do the shutter function, and I would recommend one of those unless you already have the adapter.

So I'm using this with my Canon R6 camera, and I don't know what kind of instructions other people followed to connect via Bluetooth with no problem, but it took so long to connect after numerous attempts. Then it worked and was amazing. I went to use it 4 days later and couldn't get it to connect. I deleted the saved device on my camera and tried re-pairing and nothing. I thought, maybe a dead battery after having it for less than a week? So I had to unscrew that tiny screw holding in the battery door, which took so long, because not everyone has such a tiny Phillips head screw driver. I discovered the battery wasn't sitting securely in place. I had to tape it down so the battery wouldn't pop up. I'm aware that part of the problem is Canon's terrible setup for connecting to a wireless remote device. I read so many complaints about it, as well as video reviews about the trouble with connecting. (I also have a very difficult time getting my phone to connect by either Bluetooth or wireless.) It takes too many steps just to use this remote or my phone, and then this remote just stopped working because it doesn't seem to sit right in the battery casing! I guess you get what you pay for. But at least it seems to work now. I don't know if the Canon brand would be any easier, but it costs more at around $80.00. And I already spent $33.00 on this one that seems to only work after taping the battery into place.
