  • Would definitely buy again! Small breeds only, though.
Style: Extra-Small Rabbit Hutch
Edit 9/2019: I still use this hutch from time to time, though I've taken to giving my rabbits each their own x-pens to live in mainly. This hutch is a fantastic option for someone who needs to save on space while providing some space for their rabbit companion. You definitely want to get sturdier screws (or L brackets) for the ramp, but overall, the design is great. I've assembled/disassembled this hutch probably +9 times and it's still held up beautifully. Still recommend for dwarf and small breeds only, as it's not the largest pen in the world. I would lastly add that going to your local hardware store and grabbing a custom cut piece of plywood for under this hutch will save you a lot of headaches, whether it's inside or out. You won't have to worry about your bunny ruining your carpet or digging their way out of their pen. I bought this cage about a month ago for an indoor rabbit. My Holland lop is about 3 months old now, and he seems to LOVE it! It is a good size cage for him. I put a plywood sheet under the cage run, so he doesn't dig at the carpet at all, and he actually really likes the wood - he loves laying on the floor downstairs so he can see everything going on in the room. His cage seems to be pretty well sized for him, considering I can fit his grass chew tube, hanging toys and even 2 litterboxes and he still has room to hop freely. This was super easy to assemble and I've gotten many compliments for how nice it looks! The few things I did have a beef with were the fact that the door lock for the run locks from the inside, not the outside, so if your bun is in the house and not wanting to be in there, you have to open up the house in order to lock the door (in my case, for cleaning). Also, the screws connecting the ramp to the main hutch are not very sturdy, and stripped out in the first 2 weeks. My bun is old enough that I just put a box in there in place of the ramp, but you may want to consider using larger/longer screws because it has to support the weight of the wood and your bun! Overall, this is one of the best sized and ease of access cages you can get for your bunny, especially if they will be living outside or not get a lot of running time in the house. It should be noted though that this is better suited to small breeds, as my friend's Holland Lop/ American cross could barely fit in the front door. ... show more

  • Looks great, great for small spaces, suits up to medium rabbits.
Style: Extra-Small Rabbit Hutch
Love it. Easy to put together with the kids. Better than a regular cage but not much bigger in space, just more interesting and more attractive. Room enough for a medium rabbit. Lots of access areas: roof lifts off, front doors open up, and front run can be removed. As easy to clean as any hutch I've had. Don't expect bathroom cleanliness: there will always be stains on walls develop from potty areas but this has lots of access areas with which to do the best job you can. Tip: we use puppy potty training pads in the steel tray to contain liquids and change the whole thing every few days. Find a cheap brand (they don't have to be carpet protectors) and suddenly the kids don't mind cleaning the cage... Rabbit seemed happier too, as was mum with no flung dung or shavings up to 6ft away... There is no floor though. Diggers be warned. ... show more

  • Very cute, good hutch but be prepared for some minor construction.
Style: Extra-Small Rabbit Hutch
My guinea pigs spend a lot of time outdoors this summer and they loved this little hutch. The upstairs has a divider to separate 2 rooms and we put fleece bedding up there and they slept comfortably. My husband thought it looked like a little condo! They munch on green grass all morning and relaxed safe and soundly upstairs in their cozy little bungalow. My only complaints are: 1.) The stair/slide/tier to the 2nd level was poorly constructed and the 3 screws provided kept popping out. We had to buy hinges and "re-construct" and "jimmy" it ourselves which was a pain but it works fine now. 2.) The hinges used to connect the oudoor screen to the main component are cheap, plastic metal and they broke off after first use. I had to (again) go to the hardware store to buy 4 hinges to keep this together and keep the cavvy's safe whilst outdoors. 3.) It was harder than I expected to put together. My husband and I spent about 2 hours putting this together and thankfully, with the help of a youtube video, it was accomplished! On the positive side, the roof is solid, the hutch is cute and fairly sturdy and it provides adequate room, comfort and protection. I do think the price should be lower for the product itself. I wouldn't pay more than $75 for this item if I'd known then what I know now. ... show more

  • My kid's loved this hutch
Style: Extra-Small Rabbit Hutch
My kid's loved this hutch. We got two bunnies for my kids a few months ago. They were doing well in their little cages in the garage for some time, and we had a makeshift fence in the back. But decided to get a hutch so that they could spend more time outside without us worrying if they would get out. It was easy to put together. It took my husband a few hours, but he had two five and four year old "helpers" and our six month old was trying to get in on the fun as well. It's not enormous, but it is plenty of room for our two rabbits to hop around and my son's gotten in and sat with them. It said it would arrive about a week or so after I ordered it, but was here within two days so was surprised by that. Really sturdy and easy to put together. Lot's of different openings to get the rabbits out if needed and lightweight enough to move around the yard when needed. For the price, we are very impressed with this hutch. ... show more

  • Too cheap and poorly designed.
Style: Extra-Small Rabbit Hutch
First off read the measurements carefully. This is a tiny amount of space. I used it as a chick brooder because it seemed too small for my rabbit. The pros are that it utilizes it's minimal space well. The cons are that the materials are cheap, the door latch will not keep out predators and must be modified, the ramp screws fell out within two weeks of use and I had to modify, again using a piece of wood and more substantial hardware. The worst problem with this though is that the attached run does not easily go on and off. The hardware is cheap and bends under little pressure. Also, due to design flaws the run makes it impossible to access your animals if they are in the run under the upstairs area. This might serve as a quick temporary fix but it won't last long and is not worth the money. ... show more
