I just used this on a week's trip to Las Vegas where the resort hotel I stayed at charges $15 for a coffee kit (paper cup and one time use coffee to use in the coffee maker). So I brought powdered instant coffee packs, and boiled water with the portable kettle. It is small so you will have enough hot water for one large cup and will need to boil again. It is pretty quick to boil so you won't wait long. However, if you try to open immediately after it finishes boiling, you could burn yourself with the steam - there was a warning in the instructions. I wait a minute or so until it cools down a bit (and you can see the temperature on the display) before slowly opening the top. The kettle can be used internationally (110-240V), so that's a plus compared some other electric kettles. So far, it has served the purpose I bought it for. I do not know about the durability as it's been less than a month. Will update this review in a few months.

I ordered this travel kettle but was having an issue with it. I returned it and ordered a second one but was still having the same issue so I reached out to Nicewell’s customer service. Their customer service department responded very quickly and they were very nice. They immediately offered to send me a replacement, which I received within a few days. After I received it I realized that it was not going to work for how I intending to use it. I contacted Nicewell’s customer service again and they promptly gave me a refund. I would definitely buy from them again, they truly have great customer service!

Loved the dual voltage, which is hard to find. Potential improvements: - I'm not a fan of the little bump in the middle at the bottom. It made cleaning harder and doesn't seem necessary either. - It may spill or leak with hot water in it even when the water level is low. So I couldn't carry it with me when the water is still hot. Cold water seems fine. - It does not keep water hot/warm for very long. - It struggled a bit initally with 220V in China with the buttons not responsive but eventually worked most of time. Not sure whether it will last.

I bought this product for travel to avoid having to use the coffee makers in hotels. I like that it also serves as a thermos. It is small; I would have preferred a few more ounces. It boils water quickly.

My wife and I just had a trip to UK/Ireland. We took this kettle with us. It worked well with a simple adapter (not a voltage transformer type). Most sockets in the UK/Ireland hotels have 220V 3-prong sockets. It just took a short time to boil water. We tested the kettle in the US. So it works well for both 220V and 110V. Great product!

It's a convenient size, easy to pack. It worked for me when on trip where 240Volts was standard. It has several heating temperature options -very handy. I only use for water, so cannot comment if other beverages are put in - probably ok since it is food grade stainless steel.

Overall it is a great little portable thermos. Water heats up quickly. Would have given a 5 stars if this unit had a good insulation.
