Description

Inflatable body pillow for the side sleepers who travel for work or pleasure. Pillow measures 13 inches wide and 48 inches long when inflated. It comes with a handy drawstring carrying bag. When inflated, the pillow is approximately three to four inches thick, depending on if you want a rigid pillow or something more cozy. The value on the pillow allows it to be blown up with your mouth, or you can use a blow dryer on cool setting while depressing the value to blow it up quickly. While only 50% of the air will probably make it into the valve, this method only takes a few seconds to complete. Blowing it up manually will require similar effort to blowing up an adult pull float. I bought this for backpacking the second half of the Appalachian Trail because my arms and legs keep going numb and the other things I’ve tried just didn’t do the job. I searched and found this and decided to give it a try and it most definitely works and has solved my problem. Comfort is 4 stars because most people who will purchase this will not be backpackers and will be unaccustomed to a vinyl pillow and the noise and the seams. However, for me, it has increased my comfort phenomenally. It is much more comfortable than anything else I have tried that will fit in my backpack and not be too heavy. For traveling, this is definitely compact, light, and easy to use and blow up and fold/roll and put back in the bag it came with. And excellent choice. But definitely try using it before traveling and make sure you can adjust to the differences between a real pillow and one that is filled with air. It is different. Lightweight is 3 stars based on backpacking (not suitcases and traveling). It is not an ultra light backpacker’s dream and most would never carry something this substantial and the only reason I am is because it keeps me hiking by helping me have a much more restful sleep and not wake up to numb extremities. For me, it’s definitely worth the weight. For a perspective of what I’m speaking of, most backpackers carry everything they need including food and water in 16 - 30 lb packs so ounces count where in a suitcase the added weight would not even be noticed. I am a 5’5” 130lb woman and I don’t blow it up to it’s fullest (almost full) and the dimensions work very well for me. ... show more

I love this compact pillow for travel! It is longer than a king pillow so side sleepers who can’t sleep without a pillow between their leg it’s great. It can be aired up to your desired comfort level as well. It’s easy to deflate & doesn’t require a pillow case so traveling with it is convenient.

    • Finally a fully functional inflatable bodypillow!
Finally a body pillow we can travel with. Both my boyfriend and I are side sleepers who use bodypillows and we love to travel! Most of our travels we stay in Air Bnbs so there isn't a front desk to call to get extra pillows. So it's always a scramble to find couch pillows, clothes stuffed in extra pillow cases and other such nonsense to create some semblance of a body pillow. Then I found this full size inflatable body pillow and it's perfect! I will say if you are very tall it will probably be more like a leg pillow but I'm 5'2" and my boyfriend is 5'9" and we both felt it was more than adequate. It measures a little under 4' when it's inflated and about 12" wide. For being an inflatable pillow it is very quiet (you don't feel like you're hugging a plastic bag full of air). It feels very durable and it held air for the 2 nights we had it inflated. I wanted to give it 5 stars except for 2 things. 1. The inflate nozzle is almost impossible to manually blow up the pillow except for the last few breaths. It is flat and there isn't anything to get your lips around. The instructions say to use a blow dryer on a cool setting but most travel dryers or hair dryers you find in hotels do not have a cool setting. I did purchase a Therm-A-Rest mini battery operated pump which worked okay but because there isn't a nozzle to fit the end of the pump around it was a bit of a challenge. 2. I bought a regular body pillowcase and it is about 4" too long and 2" too wide. It isn't a big deal put if this came with an appropriate sized pillowcase it would be better. Another plus is this easily folds up and fits back into its travel bag which I really love. Actually the travel bag is big enough that if the pillow had a more appropriately sized pillowcase I could roll them all up together which would be great for my minimal packing ethic!     • Great inflatable pillow that's perfect for saving space and side sleeping
Used this for a recent camping trip and also a night camping in my Jeep, and this was quite nice. I need some sort of support between my knees when I sleep on my side, and I also like something I can sort of spoon with or wrap my arm around at the same time. This is a great solution that helps me save space by not needing full-on pillows! I've seen some complain that its shape isn't quite right, but hey, it's an inflatable pillow! What do you expect? It's still pretty comfy and it's not really crinkly. It has a pleasant softness on the outside; it's not just plastic or something. To be fair, this might not be as comfy for taller people as it's around 48" long, but I'm 5'6" and it fits me pretty well. My only suggestion for a future version would be to make one end less flat and more rounded so that it can be spooned easier. But still, overall this is fantastic and has really helped my sleeping game while camping. ... show more

    • OK but not great
Seems like this should be a simple product to get right, but there are a couple of unfortunate flaws with this one. First, the fine stuff: pretty easy to inflate/deflate, packs up pretty small. But there are two (silly) problems: First, the top part where you'd "hug" the pillow is square, with pointy edges. This isn't very ergonomic, so you get a nice sharp corner digging into your chest/neck/face/whatever. They should've just made it rounded. Second, if you're like me and don't want it blown up to full capacity so that it's not super hard, then any time you move around or change positions, the pillow makes a not-so-quiet crinkling sound that could wake others up.     • Perfect, compact & lightweight for traveling
Just got this today, right on time. I wasn't sure about it but thought I'd give it a try. I bought this because of the length and width of it. I have a body pillow and it was not convenient to travel with (to bulky). I haver sciatic problems and at home I place my body pillow to place between my legs and knees to align my hips. This Travel Inflatable Body Pillow will keep me comfortable when I sleep because it is almost the same size of the body pillow I have. I wanted something that could be compact, convenient and lightweight; this fits the bill for sure. Inflated it does measure 48" X 12" and deflated it's about 5-5 1/2 "X 7". It inflated and deflated really easy and pretty fast. It is exactly as the picture shows of the one on the bed (It doesn't taper at one end like two picture show). Quality of it seems like it will last and will get my moneys worth. No instructions came with it. This might be a repeat: when deflating it, in the valve there is a little button push in then roll it up to get the air out quickly. If you use it as a body pillow maybe inflate it 75-80% so that it is softer and more rounded (& not flat). ... show more

This travel body pillow works very well. I'm a side sleeper and need something between my knees due to some knee and hip issues. Hotel pillows just don't cut it. Pillow inflates easily, I used a small travel pump, but I think it wouldn't be too hard to inflate manually (about like blowing up a pool float) ( haven't tried the hairdryer either). You can adjust how soft or firm it is by adding or releasing air. The cover is fairly soft but I added a body pillow cover which worked well. It is very sturdy ( thicker material than a pool float) and held the air for a week with no leaks). Folds into a very compact bag ( included) (smaller than a book) which is compressible and light so easily fits in a suitcase or backpack. Happy with my purchase. ... show more

I use a full length, plush body pillow every night for sleep. I sleep on my side and like to use the body pillow between my legs to support my knees and also spoon the top of the pillow with my chest pressing into it and arms draped over. A normal body pillow provides my body with spine alignment and upper body pressure relief and support. This is what I was looking for in an inflatable travel pillow so I can get that same support traveling and camping. I was excited about this pillow, however, it did not deliver due to it's shape. Being a flat rectangle, it could give me support between my knees with a few inches of ushion between my legs. However, this came at the cost of only having 3 inches near my chest to rest my arm on. This did not give me the upper body and arm support I wanted. Conversely, if I turned the pillow so it was narrow and tall, I could get some chest/arm support, but it it was too tall to comfortably fit between my knees. I would reccomend the makers of this product to design a conical body pillow that allows for a smaller diameter near the legs and larger one near the top for upper body spooning. The inflation valve was easy to use and I could blow it up in 15 deep breaths. Not bad! I did have some issues with accidentally knocking the valve and having it rapidly deflate. SAD. The texture was comfortable and it didn't smell like a lot of other plastic inflatables. Overall the product didn't fit my needs of a body pillow even though some other aspects about the pillow were nice. ... show more
