Being a pillow snob, I have been on the hunt for years for the perfect squish, softness, thickness, and comfort. I have bought some hotel quality pillows in the past and like them, but decided to give this one a try. I really like the cooling side, however it doesn't stay cool forever, which nothing really will. But I really love how you can remove the stuffing to meet your standards of what thickness you want your pillow to be. This pillow is kind of similar to the 'my pillow' which I've liked, yet this one seems like it will stay fluffier and consistent longer. I really am happy with this pillow, yet it's only been a couple days. I took about a third of the stuffing out and I think it's perfect. I am a back sleeper/side sleeper and this is so comfortable for me. It springs back and fluffs up easily. Hope this helps. I like the price point as well, since the pillow itself is not washable so replacing it every few years is not that costly. Fits in my standard silk pillowcase great! I can't say how durable it is as of yet, but will come back here if my thoughts on it change. ... show more

If you've used the original My Pillow and liked it, this pillow is for you. It's very similar but better! It's a super fluffy pillow with removable filling in case it's too fluffy for you. These are good pillows. One side is just a regular pillow and one side is cooling. It keeps its shape well overnight and so far has been a good buy. I sleep on my side and feel like it supports well. Would purchase them again.

I’ve had my sleep change so much from this pillow I had to give a review. I had a major back fusion surgery and my sleep is awful due to neck, head and back pain. I since buying this pillow I can sleep for hours without having to wake up and readjust. I actually took some of the foam pieces out (which is fantastic to have the ability to adjust the pillow to meet your needs) and washed the pillow case before using. The material is very soft and pulls heat away from my head. If you do not like the cooling aspect a pillow case over solves that. I typically push and mold the pillow to fit my neck and head and it stays in that position. It arrived flat and expanded in 5 minutes. The filling is invaded in a separate case from the pillow case itself which was helpful when removing some of the foam. The appearance is of high quality and pillow case material is thick and well made. ... show more

Ive been a down pillow snob since forever. That's 65 years. This is by far the best pillow Ive found to date. I was sus of the whole memory foam thing because Ive had them before & found them to be hot. These pillows however are a step above. The cover material is 2-sided so you can flip over to a soft side or a more nylon feeling cooler side which sounds like it should be hot but its not. The pillows come vac-packed and its amazing just how compact they can make these because when you first open them they look unimpressive. Once they've had a chance to fully expand they're stuffed to the max. You have to option to open the ez-zip cover and remove as much foam pieces are you want to make the pillow conform to your specifics. I took enough foam out of both pillows to make an entire 3rd pillow, and even that one is overstuffed. I find that because the foam is in tiny 1/2" pieces they move around freely and you can easily conform them to your heads best position easily- even in your sleep. The are not hot and even if I go thru the old night sweats, I can flip that pillow over for a comfy cool spot and go right back to sleep. 100! ... show more

Its a decent pillow, if thats all it's supposed to be. We bought them because of the "cooling" effect that was advertised. That part is a huge flop. First I tried it with a pillow case, and I swear I got hotter than with my old pillow. So then without the pillowcase, it's very slightly better, but the stitching started coming out the first night and now my head gets wrapped up in it. Decent pillow for comfort, not good for cooling, and stitching falls apart...... ... show more

Best Pillow ever!!. I have purchased many pillows from Amazon with no success in comfort, but this one is the best one ever, it’s so soft and very comfortable . When you open the package , it looks very flat. I just knew it was a bad purchase , but after I fluffed it out and let it sit out for a while. It expanded a great deal The cooling side is amazing. The best part if it’s too fluffy for you, you’re can remove t the filling to accommodate to your liking, this is a must have purchase you will not regret it. ... show more

This is a day one report on these pillows. Firstly, these are true 20x30 pillows which I really wanted as most of my so called "queen" pillows are only 20x28. May not sound much but 20x28 are noticeably smaller on my queen beds and noticeably smaller than my Egyptian Cotton queen linen sets. When I first opened these, as you'd expect they were vacuum sealed and the pamphlet recommended waiting 24 hours to fluff up. I must have bought the "magic" set then.... cos mine fluffed up fully within about 4 hours. I left them about 9 hours before putting them on the bed and I can assure you they were so puffed up, they looked like they were going to burst... The best news was they fitted the Queen pillow case covers perfectly. The even better news is that for the first night in a long long time, I had the most comfortable nights rest and woke up without any neck pain etc. I had no issues with the "smell" others report. If yours do smell, throw them in the dryer for a couple of hours on cool or no-heat, that works according to other reviewers. I will say upfront, the included pillow case cover which has one side for cooling did appear to be noticeably cooler to the touch while being air fluffed for 8 hours but I can't say I noticed anything obvious during the night. However, I live in Arizona and it's always hot here. Still, I also did not have any neck or head sweats like I did with my old pillows and I was resting on the cool side. For what it's worth, even though these have a washable protector cover on them, I wash my covers and pillowcases weekly and rotate them with a spare set. However, as it doesn't appear you can buy these included special covers on their own, I've purchased another set of these pillows and also some 20x30 cotton washable protectors that can be ironed. ps. I iron my sheets too.... Nothing more comfortable than slipping into freshly washed and ironed bed linen. So far, I highly recommend these. They work great for me. I'll update my review in a few weeks time if anything changes. ... show more
