I don’t know what this is, but the firmness is awesome. The cooling aspect not really there, but I literally am using microfiber, pillowcases and sheets so like I feel sweaty and hot all the dang time but honestly, the adjustability awesome the flatness no it stays pretty rise and pretty cool and good. I think it’s like really good. I do love these pillows sizing I just got the standard queen size pillow, easy quality easy five stars. I actually love this product and I actually would buy again and my my friend actually had a body pillow, made out of bamboo, and I fell in love with it when I was over at his house so that is the reason why I invested in bamboo pillows so I am in love with this product. Pros: • Trusted bamboo comfort we’ve loved for years • Great once fully fluffed and settled • Breathable and stays cool overnight • Comes in a convenient 2-pack Cons: • Arrived very flat and needed extra time to expand • Had to remove the protective zipper case and manually fluff to get the full shape • Took longer than expected to puff up (more than 24 hours) Review: My family has used bamboo pillows for years, and they’ve always been our go-to for support and cool comfort. This set still delivers that reliable feel—but they definitely required more prep than older sets we’ve owned. Right out of the packaging, they were super flat. I had to unzip the protective outer case and fluff them quite a bit, and even then, it took over a day before they truly expanded. Once they did, they were just as comfy as we hoped! To be short, these pillows don’t feel like a high quality memory foam. I bought a high quality memory foam pillow from somewhere else and I can *really* feel the differences if I compare side by side... These pillows for one are so heavy! I swear I’ve never had a heavier pillow- there would be no way you could maybe pack in into a bag and carry them for long if you needed too. I swear they make a “thud” sound when I throw them into the bed. I don’t know if that this has much to do with the immediate quality, but it’s a curious feature of these pillows. They also have less squish than my other memory foam. They seem stiffer, and bounce back much faster. For a side-sleeper like me we need that kind of support, but back/belly sleepers won’t be happy with the thick and structured nature of these pillows. The memory foam just doesn’t seem to have enough give for me to feel truly relaxed to be honest. The “lumpiness” factor that I see in other comments about this product is present, but not enough for me to literally lose sleep over. It’s gotten much better with regular use and when I rest my head on them I don’t notice a thing. The smell- yep- there is a very distinct smell. I fluffed them up and let them sit for several days flipping them occasionally and the smell never fully went away. Actually, when I cuddle up to these pillows I can still smell a hint of it and I’ve had these pillows for months now. It’s not a pleasant smell- it’s like what you’d think factory foam would smell like. Rubbery, is what i’d describe it as. So, enough complains- the pros. For one, the price is much better than what I paid for my other memory foam pillows. I got two for a fraction of the cost. When I compare all the cons, I can see passed the flaws. I often grab these pillows and not notice a difference on many nights. So if you’re not picky, these might be the way to go.
