Accompanying picture shows: Shrink-wrapped pillow, fluffed pillow and the package of extra stuffing. These pillows arrive as a set of two and each is rolled in its own shrink-wrap. Included is a separate package of additional stuffing, should you find yourself in need of it. However, I found the pillows to be quite plump just as they were! As described by the seller, the outer, zippered casing of the pillow features a cool-to-the-touch side while the opposite side is less so. The outer case also acts as a pillow protector. Within the outer case, is a second zippered case making up the actual pillow. The second zipper case allows for adding or subtracting of stuffing so you can adjust and find YOUR perfect pillow comfort. These pillows are really well made! The stitching around the zippers is spot on and well done. The zippers don't snag and slide along nicely. Both the inner and outer cases are are well made and the outer case has a nice design to it that, once the pillow plumps up, resembles quilting. The only "con" for me (but not so much as to effect my five-star rating) is the initial smell. They did emit an unpleasant odor similar to every other new pillow I've tried. Simply letting them air out a few hours before use will fix that in a jiffy. Worth it? Absolutely! After trying other pillows that were suppose to be "hotel quality" AND being very disappointed by each one I tried, I was hesitant to give these a shot. However, I loved the idea that they came with extra filling that allowed me to adjust the plumpness to my liking. What a fantastic feature! As it turns out, my pillows didn't need any adjustment because they are perfect (for me) just as they are! Affordable, comfortable and adjustable! I would definitely purchase again! ... show more

As a side sleeper, finding a good pillow hasn’t been easy. I decided to try this based on what others reviewed. I like that I can add fill to make it firmer but I found it to be quite sufficient as it was. Just as you can add fill to it, so too can you remove fill to make it softer. Ordered two king sized Qutool pillows. They arrived tightly wrapped. There was an odor - not overwhelming - but present. Over the next 24 hours the pillows inflated and the smell mostly dissipated. Instructions are included for washing the cover and ways to make the pillow fuller. The pillow felt full but soft, meaning I could press down and it would pop back up. It was easy to identify the cool side by touch and it actually stays cool all night. After sleeping on it for 2 weeks my neck hurt. I'm a side sleeper. I discovered that in the beginning of the night my spine, neck and head would be in alignment. By the morning my head would have sank into the pillow and my neck would be in a bent position. Contacted the company through Amazon Message Center and they sent more filling. This process took about 2 weeks - from initial contact and several email exchanges to actually receiving the extra stuffing. I put an entire package in my pillow. It is now heavier but firmer and sleeps better. It has just enough 'give' to allow my head to be snuggled without it dividing in half during the night. I watched all the videos and read all the reviews, Too much filling for one person may not be enough for another. I also get the impression that not all pillows are stuffed equally. My two kings pillows definitely didn't have the same amount of stuffing - or - the stuffing did not expand in the same way. Pillows and Mattress reviews are subjective to body type, sleep position and preference. I would have given this pillow 5 stars but I feel I got a little push back from the seller when I requested additional filling. I sent the request and instead of confirming my order number and address I received instructions on "How to Fluff the Pillow". Which prompted additional emails, explanations and conversations over a couple of days. The instructions in the box said if you need more Just Ask. Overall the Qutool is a good pillow, With the different options: Take some out or put some in. Make it warm or turn to the cool side. You can make it almost perfect! ... show more

    • First time in decades I have a pillow I love

I have been struggling so much finding a nice pillow. I am a good sleeper, but when your pillow sucks, you wake up anyway. I am really loving this pillow. It is firm enough, but not rock hard. I am a side and front sleeper and it works for me. I can stomp it into submission so that it suits me. It will have the corners lose filling over night, but you just squeeze that back in the morning, like they say, fluff it back, and it will be like new. The cover feels lovely and cool. It will warm up while using, but I mean, there is only so much that can be done about that, and in the whole, it does a great job. I am thinking maybe 100% linen pillowcases would work well to keep it cool longer. The price is phenomenal, compared a lot and saw pillows like this over 100 bucks. I was told memory foam pillows can be washed, but not dried in a dryer and take forever to dry and run a risk of getting moldy while they do. I am just going to make sure it always has good covers, vacuum it and maybe sprinkle it with baking soda and leave that on and then vacuum it. ... show more

I waited awhile before posting this review, I wanted to test it out over time to give a full and honest one. I suffer from night-sweats and it was recommended that I try a cooling gel pillow. I really doubted this pillow would make a difference and I'd be returning them. Boy was I wrong! It's one of the most comfortable pillows I've ever owned, and I've tried all varieties. This works just as advertised: it keeps its shape and only needs a little re-fluffing after using; no weird smells; it's eliminated my night-sweats completely. I did find it a little TOO large (they really are HUGE) but taking some of the stuffing out from the soft side helped. I highly recommend this pillow to anyone who wants to rest without waking up in soaked in sweat. Whether it's from PTSD, night-terrors, menopause -or any other reason for that matter- this pillow does the job. ... show more
