I took a star off because I managed to sheer a head off one of the anchors while screwing it into the ground. We do have notoriously dense ground here, so, not entirely the product's fault. Once it's in, however, they're solid. They're holding down our 15' circular trampoline. It never budges. Even in our bonkers tier 30/40mph winds.

We use these on our hoophouse/ hightunnel and they are anchored in had pan dirt. There it worked great. However if you are planning on using these in gardenbeds to ancor strings for trellising like we did for our hops plants they have a chance of coming out. We had strong winds on one of the five anchors we use for hops trellising just popped out of the ground. The soil was fairly loose and so I think it just didn't have anything to hold onto. Just keep that in mind. I would recommend them for soil types that are a bit more compact. The stakes themselves are very sturdy and so are the straps that come with them.
