You lose out on a lot of features if your WiFi isn’t the 2.5. But still the most user friendly unit I have used and creates some of the best flavor. This is my second purchase of a Traeger. The first one I purchased was probably one of the first ones that Traeger came out with and it served us well but it needed to be replaced. It's a great grill although I had some issues in the beginning but the tech support is fantastic sent me a new board grill works great I've been using this grill over two years got it down twit I can cook perfect ribs perfect brisket and many other things I would recommend this grill

Once assembled, the grill seems to be decent quality. Im not super impressed, if I did it again, I would try a different brand. I dont feel like it justifies the premium price. I really cant get it to smoke much at all. We use it mostly as a grill, less as a smoker.
