Stay away from this one. Got multiple cuts on my hand. Sharp metal. Item doesn’t work. It’s worth the scrappy Metal price.

The Touchstone Citadel pyramid heater is a truly lovely way to elevate your outdoor area while gaining a heat source. The heater arrived carefully packed and everything - even the glass - was intact! I would highly recommend having a driver available or else you will still be putting this heater together next winter. Instead of sending the hardware in a bag, almost all of the hardware is prescrewed/bolted into the pieces with which they belong. This initially seemed like a good idea till I realized I basically put this thing together twice having to unscrew and rescrew most of the hardware. It also means that if a screw is missing, you will be digging through all the packing materials searching for one little screw that you might never find. I wound up supplying about 8 screws myself because I never found the missing ones. In addition, some of the screws were cross threaded. I wound up redrilling some of the holes. I have another pyramid heater from another brand and it was much easier to assemble than this one. I would also like to note that the inside of the metal panels are not finished. This does not REALLY matter except that, again, on the other brand I have everything is pretty and finished on both sides. The other one is also significantly less expensive. The plastic protective film was very easy to peel off the panels (something I had trouble with in the other brand). When finally assembled, this heater does put out plenty of heat. It is easy to light. The pilot light system is indispensable on these things and even the most fire shy of people can feel safe lighting this heater. This heater works well on my covered porch (tall ceiling) and I have greatly enjoyed many cool mornings having coffee snuggled up to my heater.

The media could not be loaded. Takes about an hour to put together from start to finish but the end result is worth it! Do not recommend this for in the garage, just turned it on for pictures. But heats up quickly and would be beautiful on a summer BBQ night on the patio. Amazing quality!

I didn't think I would be this impressed with a patio heater but this one is VERY impressive! Here's why: 1. It's very cool looking - high end and classy, too. Looks like something you'd find at a swanky outdoor patio at a restaurant that serves $17 cheeseburgers (if you know, you know LOL) 2. Assembly is required but it is fairly easy and straightforward. It takes about a half hour but with two people it will definitely be faster. 3. It is VERY well built - feels sturdy and substantial. 4. The glass is thick and strong. 5. Propane tank fit in there very nicely and is totally hidden so you don't see it. 6. Puts out some HEAT! It's 40,000 BTUs and heats about 100 sq ft according to the description - and that's right on the money - there's definitely truth in advertising there. All in all, this is a very nice outdoor heater that makes a great addition to a patio, deck, pool area etc. I highly recommend it!

We got this to use on our patio. It arrives needing to be assembled. It took two of us about 25 minutes to assemble. It comes with directions that are clear and easy to understand. It seems to be made well. The glass is thick. it also feels durable. The frame is strong. The unit overall seems very solid. To test it out we did the assembly. Next we attached a tank of propane. We sat for a few hours enjoying radiant warmth on our patio. We would buy this again.
