Fast, Reliable, and Compact — Great Storage Solution! 💾💚 I bought the Toshiba Canvio Advance 2TB external hard drive, and it’s been working perfectly! The setup was super easy — just plug it in and it’s ready to go. The transfer speed is fast with USB 3.0, and it handles large files without any lag. I use it for backing up photos, videos, and work files, and it’s been reliable every time. It’s lightweight and compact, so it’s easy to carry when traveling. The green color is also a nice touch — bright and easy to spot in my bag. Overall, it’s a great combination of performance, portability, and style. Definitely recommend if you need extra storage or backups! 💾✨ ... show more

Great Storage, Easy to Use
Color: Black Capacity: 4TB Style: Backup 2.0 Pattern: Hard Drive
I bought the Toshiba Canvio Advance 4TB to store my growing collection of photos, videos, and work files. It’s been really reliable so far—fast transfers with USB 3.0, and plenty of space to keep everything organized without worrying about running out. I like that it’s compact and easy to carry around, which is perfect for when I need to take my files on the go. The plug-and-play setup was straightforward, so I didn’t have to fuss with any complicated installations. The only slight downside is that it uses a USB-A connection, so if you have newer devices with USB-C, you might need an adapter. But overall, it’s a solid external drive at a good price, and I’m happy with my purchase. ... show more

Good for Backups
Color: Black Capacity: 2TB Style: Backup 2.0 Pattern: Hard Drive
I bought this Toshiba Hard Drive as I was not aware you could not, or at least I was not aware I could not, save a system image to a flash drive which I originally purchased (SanDisk). The drive I wanted to save my system image to needed to be formatted NTSF. I actually changed the flash drive to that and it still didn't work. Since I'm getting warnings that my laptop hard drive may not last much longer, I needed to make sure I have things saved. I'll keep the flash drive as I'm sure it will come in handy. But I bought this Toshiba HD to save my system image. A warning or note about this Toshiba hard drive. I have a USB multi port device plugged into one USB port on my laptop. This external Toshiba HD does not like being plugged into that multi port device. It kept turning on and pausing making a clicking noise. I had to unplug the multi port device from the laptop. I then plugged plugged the HD in directly to the PC USB port. Once I did that, all worked as it should. I've saved my system image without any issue. I also have an external DVD RW drive. I wound up needing that to create a repair disc as you can't save a repair disc to a hard drive. It was requiring a disc. ... show more

I needed a portable hard drive to store my large collection of photos, videos, and documents, and I decided to buy the Toshiba Canvio Advance 2TB. I was attracted by its sleek design, its affordable price, and its 3-year warranty. The setup was easy, and the drive was recognized by my Windows 10 laptop without any issues. The drive is very fast and reliable, and it works well with the Toshiba Storage Backup Software and the Toshiba Storage Security Software, which are both included for free. The backup software lets me schedule automatic backups of my files, and the security software lets me password-protect my drive to prevent unauthorized access. The drive is very slim and lightweight, and it fits easily in my backpack or pocket. The plastic casing feels sturdy and durable, and the drive is very quiet during operation. The only minor drawbacks are that the cable is a bit short, and the drive does not have any rubber feet to prevent sliding on smooth surfaces. However, these are not deal-breakers for me, and I am very happy with my purchase. I would recommend the Toshiba Canvio Advance to anyone who is looking for a simple and effective way to store and backup their files. It is a great value for money, and it offers a lot of features and performance for a portable drive. ... show more

So far it seems to be good.
Color: Red Capacity: 4TB Style: Backup 2.0 Pattern: Hard Drive
This is an updated review since i had issues with my intial purchase, half of which wasnt an issue with this device. Read below for old review. I have gotten a replacement because my original was doa. So far this one seems good. Its functioning as expected. As a side note: this was my first time contacting amazon customer support. The person helping me did a great job. It was quick and not at all painful as i thought it would be! I was impressed. Old review:First and foremost the harddrive failed almost immediately. Now I understand that there are going to be issues now and again, so i just set it up to do a swap for the exact same drive. When my new drive arrived it wasnt quite the same. It was a Weezer cd. Now, i believe that to be a warehouse issue probably. However, now when i try to set it up to send it back for what i was supposed to get, it wont allow me. How frustrating. ... show more

It is an HDD and affordable
Color: Red Capacity: 4TB Style: Backup 2.0 Pattern: Hard Drive
If you get this for a good price and need it it is a good value for what it is. Just be aware this is moving drive not solid state so more for home or office use not travel. Also these drives are a bit slow compared to SSDs and the smaller ones like this use a form of storage that allows more data but slows it down. Do a bit of research on this if it matters. If you need speed or plan to travel with it spend more and get a portable SSD. If you just want a lot of space to store some stuff affordably this is a good option. ... show more
