Like all Milwaukee products this thing is fantastic. I tested the inverter with a 35W AC load using a 12Ah battery and it was still going strong after four hours. But beware, these are NOT for heavy loads like power tools, coffee makers or hair dryers.

I bought this thinking it would come in handy. Ive actually had it a year and never used it yet other than testing. If you can find an off brand, might be worth buying one first and testing how much you use it.

    • Another great Milwaukee product to power a laptop with a 6 Ah battery
Actually used to charge a laptop with 6 Ah battery. It does the job. Battery is good for about an hour and a half to 2 hrs of charging before it gets to critical one bar stage. It will go all day charging a cell phone however. If you have Milwaukee 18V kit already this is a good thing to have for working in the field and needing a power source for a laptop, radio or other low amperage draw device. No...it will not power a microwave so don't ask lol. Note you need to use a 6 AH battery to get any real use out of it because its an inverter that takes DC battery voltage and flips it to AC with all the resultant power loss. ... show more

I work in construction and I need to charge flashlights, lasers, my phone, and even my iPad and computer. This is my go to battery backup system. It may be a little bulky, but it works like a champ!
