So many reviews had it that the R6iii wasn't that big a jump from the R6ii. I beg to differ, and I adored the mark 2. I'm a two-camera shooter, so this one is paired with my R5ii, and can skate with it every step of the way. Unbeatable image quality, outstanding video, and a joy to shoot with. You all seen the You Tube videos about this camera because no one buys a $2800 without research. That said, I bought this camera, my third Canon mirrorless. Nothing new to say except that it is an outstanding camera, for both stills and videos. The first Cannon system that I had was the 5D Mark ii, then the 1DX mark ii, and now I’ve upgraded to the R6 Mark iii. I have a background in street and military photography. All the lenses that I own are EF lenses. I still need to buy an RF lens. I am very impressed with this camera. I absolutely love the image quality that comes out of this system. The video capabilities are very impressive and I still have yet to explore deeper into it. Right now, I am just a dad mainly taking pictures of his kids and the occasional photo shoot side hustle now. This camera is more than capable of taking care of all the needs. Outstanding camera. Great in low light. I was able to shoot at 400 ISO with my 45mm f/1.2 STM as fast as 1/250 shutter under tungsten light. Very fast stick on auto focus. Not extremely fast like the R5 Mark II but fast enough to catch birds in flight. Easy to understand and navigate menu. Build quality is solid. Acquire and track subjects much faster than the original R5. It's close enough to the R5 Mark II for $1,100 less. If they can fix the over heating issue, this would be a perfect camera. ... show more
