The first Cannon system that I had was the 5D Mark ii, then the 1DX mark ii, and now I’ve upgraded to the R6 Mark iii. I have a background in street and military photography. All the lenses that I own are EF lenses. I still need to buy an RF lens. I am very impressed with this camera. I absolutely love the image quality that comes out of this system. The video capabilities are very impressive and I still have yet to explore deeper into it. Right now, I am just a dad mainly taking pictures of his kids and the occasional photo shoot side hustle now. This camera is more than capable of taking care of all the needs. I guess the body that I received is defective. The camera seems to freeze when the SDXC card is added along with the CF Express card. I was using the latest LP-E6P batteries and canon suggested SD cards. Couldn’t see the replace option so returned it.

I finally upgraded from a Canon RP and am absoulely blown away by how much of a drastic leap the R6 III is. AF is crazy fast feels like it knows exactly what I want it to lock onto. The video features are incredible, open gate recording is easily the best feature here. Battery life is stellar. The pre-shooting and 40 frames per second with the electronic shutter can be dangerous! It will fill up a memory card fast. Overall, this is probably the best hybrid camera on the market. 100% would recommend. ... show more
