I bought two of these cages to put together for my Guinea pigs, I have two males that could no longer live together so I bought this and simply left out one side on each of the cage levels and rolled them together to make one long cage, if you do this make sure your floor is level and don’t put the wheels on otherwise there will be a gap. The media could not be loaded. I researched like CRAZY because, dang ferret cages are expensive, and if you’re gonna spend that kinda money, it better be perfection. This cage is the comparable to the Critter Nation Double cage. I would have loved to buy brand name, but alas, I am ballin on a budget. Noodle free ranges the house most all day, this is her safe space when we need her contained. She is over 1 year old and pretty petite, she can go under the crack of a door (and ruin my carpet while doing it). When we 1st got her we bought some $90 ferret cage on Amazon and the bars were over an inch apart and it was useless. This one is much better. I love that it has 2 doors so it’s easy to clean and decorate her cage. It also comes with fleece to cover the stairs and each level. Each level IS wire, which hurts ferrets feet, so we covered those in cheap “oil spill” pads, hubby gets at work, you can prob find at Auto Zone. Or you can use puppy pads. Too small for even a single ferret. We bought this for a ferret we’re planning on adopting; it is smaller than expected but it’s my fault for not looking at the measurements. Our ferret is going to be free roamed most of the day and only locked up at night for her safety, so this works for us. However, if your ferret is going to be spending more time in its cage or you have more than one, then I suggest maybe finding something bigger. ... show more

I have purchased 2 of these. They are perfect for what I needed. I love that it can be closed off into 2 separate spaces or opened back up to 1 large cage. It provides my pets with plenty of room even though they're mad when they have to be locked up! My husband put it together quickly and my squirrel chews on the bars but it holds up well and never has damage. Wipes down easily and being able to roll it around is nice! I’m not a fan of the bars on the bottom, it’s not fun for my little buddy to walk on and I got a different cage as soon as I could. Not the worst thing ever but get the bigger size so your pet has plenty of room and maybe consider a cage without the bars on the floor or figure out a way to cover them. There’s a lot I like about this cage like it’s elevated, has a shelf for food and item storage, the door latches great and it looks nice. And it’s easy to clean! The ‘instructions’ consist of 5 pictures. The only text tells you to half tighten the screws until it’s complete. With no helpful text, low res images, and no identifying marks on the parts I ended up having to take it apart and rearrange things twice. Arrived with a broken clip on one of the pedestals, will see how they handle that. *Update* 3 days of use & one of the platform covers has a hole. **UPDATE UPDATE** A few months in and I completely regret this purchase. Poop falls all over the place; even after adding little walls. The pan is very shallow. If you try wheeling it somewhere over uneven ground (door sills) the wheel falls out. ... show more

Used this as a temporary bunny house while my new baby dwarf rabbit got used to my cats (she is 100% free roamed) turns out my cats were scared of a baby rabbit lmao and all she wanted to do was be best friends with my cats, so in the end the doors always open but she chooses to only sleep in the cage at night I also have a runner on the platform bars so she doesn’t hurt her feet(: this worked out perfectly and those wondering if the holes were too small for rabbits to go through first and second floor, my bunny fits perfectly with a lot of space left (keep in mind she’s a dwarf rabbit breed) for the most part it was easy to assemble I only had issues with a single screw that didn’t want to completely go into the hole, it would screw in but kept popping out so it wasn’t a sideways screw problem, ended up giving up on it after an hour and kept it half way screwed other than that I love this cage and baby bun loves it too! ... show more

TODDLER CAN EASILY OPEN ENCLOSURE! not mad, it's cute. But to other parents, take extreme caution please! This cage works for ADULT rats. I will never recommend this for babies. Its a sturdy cage. Yes the bar spacing is quite wide and better suited for larger animals yet even so it works perfectly for my rattles. My girls are quite petite and can't escape. Though I'm sure if they tilted their head sideways they could. If by any chance they escape I'll still keep the enclosure by making adjustments. As for the floor that's nothing a blanket can't fix! They're happy and so am I. No reason to return regardless. Adjustments can always be made. ... show more
